Was anyone else incredibly disapointed by the ending? The whole Crown of Horns thing seemed to come totally out of the blue...like a cheap way to end the story. And what?!! Not even a parting kiss between Fone and Thorn?!!!! After all that little guy went through for her?!!! Being publicly beaten and loosing a tooth and not even a kiss?!!!!!

The Lord of the Locusts possesses Queen Mim, the first queen of the dragons and its original host that was turned to stone but is freed at the end of the comics. Umm...I'm not sure how far you've read, Rocklobster, but before then the Lord of the Locusts was a nightmare being with no shape or form. He could only exist in the spirit world, and needed to take on a mortal body to appear in the real world.

The Hooded One wanted Phoney because Phoney is sheer brilliance personified. ^_^ He is my moral role model. The Hooded One was jealous that Thorn would take her place. She tried to kill Thorn and use Phoney instead claiming that a great omen fortold the Bone's coming. The omen was Phoney's campaign balloon that originally read "Phoncible P. Bone will get your vote." The banner tore making it read "Phoncible P. Bone will get you-" XD

I've been debating over buying the monster compendum of Bone for a while... its a shame its so expensive. Oh well, eventually i'll have the liquid cash to get it.

I have only read as far as The Great Cow Race as that is what we have in the library and I own Out of Boneville.
