X Japan- Forever Love...I don't know how to describe it, but it's a powerful song.

X Japan- Dahlia...Don't know what it is about this one either, but it's just...something. Heh.

Moby- Porcelain...it's kinda calming.

Linkin Park- A Place For My Head...I listen to this when I'm angry.

Other than that, I can't think of any songs that make me get emotional.

Basement Jaxx - Romeo
Madison Avenue - Who the Hell are you?
Missy Elliot - Gossip Folk and Minute Men
Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor
Outkast - Rosa Parks, Hey Ya

All these songs make me want to boogey!
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.

Headstrong by Trapt and All of Us by Blindside both seem to get me in this undescribable mood. I'll hear them in my car and start singing along, tapping my foot to boot. But moreso than any other songs...I don't know how to explain it. I guess they get me pumped.

The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Neil Postman
(The End of Education)

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

My Plague by Slipknot - That song is the most mental, energetic song in the universe, I never get tired of it. It makes me want to headbang! (I just wish they had a cut version of their album)
Otherside and Parallel Universe by Red Hot Chilis - because they are relitivly simple songs to play but sound amazing and make me want to sing along!
Give it away and Suck my Kiss by Red Hot Chilis - because they are funky and make you want to tap your feet.
Mirrors Paradise by Kovenant - Again another hardcore metal thrashing song with lotsa lotsa LOTSA ENERGY!
Take me

Far from all that's wrong and...
Let these

Fears collapse inside

Take me

Back to when i...

Believed

"The Lady of Shalott," as set to music by Loreena McKennitt. It calms me down and sometimes makes me sad....

"This is Your Life" - Out of Eden is pretty awesome, it makes me upbeat.
"Instead" - Stacie Orrico has a powerful message, and it helps me stay focused on my homework for some reason. O.o;;
