No Kenshin Topic?!?!? How Could You!!!!

Hehe. Well... i'm just a little excited. That's right. a "little" excited by this Manga. I honestly don't think i'll get the same experience i did from the Anime (God truly Blessed that, with all the questions i began asking myself, and the overall goal i had in LIFE again - it's amazing how he can do that eh?)

But recently i began to read the manga, and have noticed some very big differences, even after only reading 3 or so volumes... (there's .. over 250 volumes...) It should be good.

Anyone else read the manga?

ive read sum of the manga. but only the end of it. like the events and battles leading up to the last battle with enishi. i liked it a lot. i couldnt tell you ne differences though cause the anime doesnt go that far. haha. what i read was really good though. hmm i still think they should turn the whole manga into an anime. thatd be hot.

Yeah, I meant Chapters ^^ The mangas artwork is really well done ^_^ One thing i noticed is the Anime leaves parts out some background information. But it works to be more dramatic that way (for example, it never showed a man staying at Kaoru's Dojo in the anime - but that means that when you see the connection it's more sudden and less obvious)

Really cool, except they're in Japanese...I cant seem to find them anywhere in English, but thats ok. So I had fun looking at the pictures and trying to spell out words, with my little knowledge of the japanese writing.

Don't worry. The first English one is coming from Viz in November at the price of $7.95.

well untill recently you could down load it off the net but since it has been picked up by viz, i believe, it has been taken off the net, this means its being trasnlated now and will bepublished before too long. currently you can olny get the untranslated versions.
but yeah, the kenshin manga is probaly my all time fav manga. i think its even better than the anime. its alittle darker and theres not as much goofing off but its still funny and awsome. plus the art is the best ive ever seen in a manga. :thumb:

This is quoted from my last post becuase nobody seemed to be paying attention to it. As I said before, the first Viz GN of Kenshin is coming in November with a price of $7.95.

There's so many of manga books in Barnes & Nobles Store. I am getting crazy for taking my little sisters to there every weekend night.

i got a question about the manga.... besides blood and maybe a few cuss words... is there anything offensive? Cuz in the anime SAno flashes a birdy , yahiko's naked in the bath, his entire backside is shown... and what about that Kamatari girl? or is she a he? i know there was something about that unless im mistaken...

Love the show, can't wait to get the manga. I freaked out when I thought someone said some 280 volumes, thanks to the person who cleared that up for us! I was getting sad because my wallet would not have agreed with that!

I've read up to vol. 8 in scanlations, and I don't -remember- any nudity in it. But then again, there are a lot of things that were in the anime that had nothing to do with the manga. The main things I remember in the manga were the blood and the cursing.

Ahh that's good to know. Yumi as the closest thing to fanserivec in the series, eh? *shivers* the nudity i saw though was around the time when the kenshin gumi rescued that braty rich kid with the big house.... it was like the next episode or something...

Ooooh, was that the part with the hot spring (or something), and Kenshin suddenly stands up when he really shouldn't have? It's been a while since I saw that ep...

Aww, go easy on me man! I said it had been a while...:P And I also didn't watch the show consistently (bad time slot) so I wasn't sure of the episode order.
