Prayer Guardians
Yes, and actually, the way I had been doing it before was to just have 20 requests on the list at any one time, and new requests are placed at the top, pushing just as many old requests out of the list. But checking to see if requests that will bumped off by an update still need prayer would be a wonderful thing to do, as well.

I would like to sincerely apologize for my long abscence. I don't have internet at home, so I always got on at school, but then they blocked it. I petitioned, wrote letters and all that good stuff, but they refused to unblock it. Anyway, I was trying to get that mess all figured out. I think I found a loophole (it's ok- I checked with an employee). Things should be fine now.

Wow. The fast is coming up really quickly. Mr. SmartyPants just posted this, and I don't think that its proximity to the fast was a coinincidence. I think we should pray specifically for the spiritua well-being of our fellow CAA members during the fast. That's my thought, at least.

Prayer List
I went through the last two weeks of prayer requests and have gleaned out those items that appear to need continued support. It's pretty big and I don't have time to edit it before fast day tomorrow. I know I was supposed to send this to Rogie San, BUT it's too long for a PM (there's a 10K character limit BTW). So it's here as an attachement. Maybe Rogie can edit it down and post it in the Prayer List forum thread.

Thanks for doing that, SP1. Great job! I attached it to the Prayer List as is (i.e., as a Word document).
Otherwise, I just want to remind everyone about the invitation for Prayer Guardians to help out with the Prayer List. I've only got two volunteers thus far. I'll keep the opportunity open for maybe another week. If no one else volunteers, then we'll just forget about the idea for now.

My Fast is from Music and radio time where I normally zone out, so I can focus more on reading the bible and stuff.

Well, I managed to avoid Coke for a day (the drink, not the drug...or is the drink a drug). Barely.
I had to wait until really late in the day for the full prayer list, however. We had a little bad weather here: at least 7 tornadoes, 73 tornado warnings, something like a dozen funnel clouds, etc. I volunteer at the weather office to do auxiliary communications (HAM radio). About 7 hours... For our part it seemed to go pretty well. Whew.

Its great to be back online at CAA!!! My family & I went on a ministry trip. We are the media team for GunnPoint Music & Nashville Cowboys. The trip went fairly well and we worked pretty non stop from a week before we left to just last Tues. night when we got back home.
It was amazing what the Holy Spirit did in Nashville and we only know a little of what He did though our group. Its gonna be cool to find out everything once the books are opened!
Back to CAA, my online home!

This is more like a headquarters for the prayer guardians (or PG's). The PG's are a group of CAAers who are dedicated to praying for the requests that are posted. We also fast twice a month so we can focus on praying.

You can choose whatever you feel led to give up the most (i.e. food, music, watching TV, drawing..anything you think you've taken for granted or have been obsessed/too indulgent in). We are welcomed to share our fasting experience on this thread. 3) Form prayer partners for the sake of accountability - this is still ongoing
Since Talame is my prayer partner, I guess it's only appropriate for me to step in her role in this forum until she returns. Hopefully, there are no objections.
