stressed

Postby faithfighter » Thu Nov 03, 2005 2:31 pm

this morning was kind of rough. for the time I woke up on I have been really mad about a few things that happened, I tried to push them off because its really not a big deal, but it kept getting worse. also an old hurt from a friend I once had...who hasn't spoken to me in months, came back into my mind and it still hurts like it just happened yesterday. all this built up today and I really got stressed out....I am feeling a lot better now, thanks to God, but I still need some prayers.
I really don't know why I suddenly feel this way, over silly things too.
thank you all so much,
God Bless

I will be praying for ya, prayer partner! I don't know if you'll see this because of your computer though. I'll pray about that too.

>_< Strewth; its tough when stress and emotions run wild. Btw, regarding that hurt from your friend.. Ryu is right when she says to forgive, but forgiveness isn't really that easy ^^;;

I was struggling with an issue of (un)forgiveness a few months ago, and in the end it struck me that I can't forgive by myself. I would always revisit the hurt, feel the same feelings of anger and such no matter how hard I tried to forgive or look at all the good that person had done. In the end, I prayed for God to help change me so that I could forgive others like He forgives them; after which I made a vocal declaration that I will and do forgive '_____' through Jesus' grace and power. The feelings didnt change immediately, but looking back now I can honestly say that there is no longer any bitterness, and that Jesus has helped me to forgive "___" :P

... and I think I have rambled again ^^ Bad Tal, bad bad!

original topic... stress! Stress can bring out the worse in people, but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. It's only when silver is put through fire that the dross appears ^^ Perhaps God is trying to show you areas in your life that need to be dealt with. Anyway, I'll be praying for ya darl :grin:

I know that feeling! It usually stikes me once every other month or so. I usually end up crying but I always feel better after I yell at God then he shows me how stupid I am being. ^_^* Best advice I can offer is to talk to God about it. When I get like that, all the grievances I have against a 'unsafe' friend comback to haunt me. So, I know exactly how you feel. I will be praying for, sister in christ!
