Kingdom Hearts II

I am so exited! It's FINALLY COMING OUT! I am a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts and ever since I found out that there was a second one coming out, I have been getting all the Info about that I can.

(Read on if you want to read what shows up in reviews and pictures.)

From the piccy's I have seen, and reviews, there seems to be a lot to be excited about. You know Pete? The disney villan of the Mickey mouse world? He's there. Also we say hello to Mulan, and Pirates of the Carribean*fangirl squeel*. Hello Jack Sparrow! Also, not only does Riku seem to be able to somehow wield TWO KEYBLADES, but a blonde hair kid shows up in pics with both Oblivion AND Oathkeeper! And the villans seem to be the brotherhood of darkness, a group that wears the cloaks exactly like that guy Sora met in the secret spot in the beggining of KH. (Was that Ansem, or someone else? I am sure we will find out in KH2) Also, you get to team up with a samurai looking blind? guy who may be from a final fantasy, but as I havn't seen anything other then him fighting with sora I have no idea. You also will be able to revisit Herc, and get to see Belle and Beast again.

All in all, I am so excited I feel like screaming. In fact, I think I will! *SQEEEE*

The guys in the black coats are the Nobuddies. They show up in chain of memories. The guy at the begining of the first game dressed like that was [spoiler]ansem.[/spoiler]

The samurai guy is Auron from final fantasy X he rock. =D

The latest news I have heard KH2 won't be out till march 2006. But the dates may change. *remembers the KH: CoM changing dates*
Not only is ther Mulan and PotC, but also Steam boat willy world and Disney castle.
And Riku dosen't have two keyblades, Sora and the BHK do.

Mulan rocks, but it seems PotC would be out of place in such a cartoony world. Who knows? I never thought the Kingdom Hearts concept would work in the first place, but they pulled it off amazingly.

Riku makes me happy, but I have a weakness for....rebels. :sweat:

The screenshots of POTC look pretty darn good. I believe it will work just fine.

I think it's going to rock. Think about this. Jak1 and Kingdom hearts both came out around the same time. almost immediately after, both began making sequels. Jak 2 came out and i beat it. Jak 3 came out and i beat it. then they announce the four jak game, and finally squaresoft announced kingdom hearts 2. they have been working on it forever!

PS, Auror is the coolest charater in final fantasy history. He made ff10 and his absence ruined ffx-2. well, many things ruined that game.

The POTC screenshots look awesome (I wonder if they'll get the original cast to play the characters again), the Steamboat Willie screenshots are just plain disturbing O_O
I had honestly forgotten this game was coming out at all, I really should finish Chain of Memories.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I wonder if they will make a KH 3. I'm actully hoping they won't, just because I don't want another "to be continued' ending on this one.

Well the creator of KH *forgot his name* said he'd like to do more, but sence this game just deals with Sora it can't have too many cause he'll grow up. Where with Final fantasy games each game has different characters.

PlayAsia shows the release date for the US version as being in December 1, the Japanese release is on December 22. Just in time for Christmas. :grin:

Amazon shows December 15 for the US. Game Stop shows 3/1/06. AllRPG.com says December 1. RPG fan says Q4 2005. I'm still hoping for december

o_O, if it's coming out this christmas how come OPM hasn't said anything about it yet? That seems too good to be true. I wasn't expecting it in english until like several months after it's japanese release.

All I can say is this...I will be so so SO dissapointed if there's no Rinoa this time around. XD I was so sad for Squall last time! Poor Squall finally gets a girlfriend, and then she gets taken off by the Heartless. Not cool. XD Anyways, I'm really excited about POTC, but I must say, they must have Johnny Depp do Captain Sparrow's voice, or he won't be cool. *nodnod* I'm no raving Depp fangirl, but Jack Sparrow just isn't Jack Sparrow unless he's Johnny Depp.

Anyways, I hope it comes out soon...!

Maybe it's just been awhile, but I don't remember anything about Rinoa ever being mentioned at all in KH's plot.

...<.< >.> Well, they never actually said her name, no...But did you see how sad Squall looked every time Sora mentioned his friends?? And...Her wing design is on the back of his jacket!! ...Maybe I'm just an over-hopeful fangirl of FFVIII, but hey...I can dream! XD

I'm personally would like to see Zidane and Garnet appear in KH2. Although we'll probably have to wait for KH3.

I want to see that too!! I loved FFIX. =) ANd Rinoa was never mentioned in KH. hee hee. But it would be cool to see her there. I'm really glad Auron is in 2. The only good thing about Tidus being in the first one was getting to kick his BUTT!! YEAH! ok I'm a bad girl. *Goes back to beating tidus up, yay!!*

I heard, though I may be wrong, that they couldn't use the FFIX characters for legal reasons.
Still, It'd be pretty cool to see the characters rendered PS2 style. (FFIX is my favorite in the series)

I just found out that Lion king world WILL be in KH2. Sora turns into a lion cub, Donald into this frekey Zazu looking bird thing and Goofy into a tortus.
Sora looks so cool!

That is really, really dang cute. I love the challenge of adapting characters to different styles (or even species) and still retaining their identity.

Haha, well, I was Kingdomhearts322, but my account got baleeted when I tried to change my email. T.T So now I'm Kaorrie.

I had a bunch of fanarts posted under the name KH322, but now they all say "Guest" underneath, so you can never tell which ones are mine anymore. If you want, I can PM the links to all of my pics that I've posted.

I have one picture under the name Kaorrie, and that name still works, thank goodness! Also, I'm Radical Dreamer on the forums!
