Prayer, help, support, and advice needed... PLEASE!!!!

Ok, I dunno how to say this, I'm a little uneasy, embarrassed, exhausted, and puzzled....

So, bear with me.........

Ok, so there's this young lady, I really like her... she's sweet, down to earth, southern, shy, cute, nice, Christian, and friendly.... also, I think I can trust her, or at least she hasn't yet to give a reason not too. We're friends, she's a Senior and I'm a Junior..... So, I want to ask her out! Now, this is a very big deal for me, cause this will be my first date and I've always chickened out on two others, but looking at it now it was for the better.

Anyways, anyone with advice or questions, just PM me or reply...

This has been on my mind for several sleepless night and I guess, I just need someone to talk to since most of my friends are gone this weekend….

Prayer and support are also greatly appreciated.

THANKS!
(Even if you just read this, still thanks. I guess, I just needed to get it off my mind.)

Will do, Link. ^_^ (I know how hard it is to ask someone out, though I've only ever tried it about two or three times in my life. It isn't easy.)

:brow: I will pray specifically that God's will be done and that He'll show you direction in this matter. Have you asked God about this young lady?

Yes, I have.... he seems to keep telling me to make my own decision on what's best or at least I'm just confused or I dunno, maybe I'm not listening hard enough.

Thank for your prayers so far ya'll...

I have a question, which you may want to consider as you pray about this matter:

If this girl is a senior, will she be going away to college next year? If so, how are away? Will you be able to keep in touch and/or see here frequently or rarely?

I will pray for you, and I know that you will work through these problems if she is right for you. :)

I'll pray that God will speak to your heart on this issue and that His will be done when you ask her out.

I have, but so far she is not exactly sure.... It's a choice between three colleges, one that is part of our school, the other is a close by one, and the last is out of state. She says, "it depend on where life takes me."

Thanks for the additional prayers! I'm able to think more clearly today.

I don't recall God ever telling me "I'll leave it to you to decide." Coz you and I know we can't trust ourselves often enough in something as important as this. Either ways, if there's no answer, I usually take it as an sign to just wait. May you have the wisdom to make the right choice.

If this girl is the one God has prepared for you, it doesn't matter if you ask her out now....or 5 years down the road. You're gonna get her. If she ain't, spare yourself the time and pain. That's why it's always a better thing to see what God says first.

Have you in my prayers. :)

Yeah, you're right, I was soooo confused this weekend (I'm still getting over that) and that probably clouded what God was trying to tell me.
Yes, I pray God will give me the wisdom to do the right thing. All in all, right now, I will wait this week, also, seeing that it's Thanksgiving week. Prayer and Time will show God's will to me, I hope. Thanks again!

Well I'm a homeschooled 8th grader, so lets just say it's gonna be a while before I ask someone out

May God help you make the right choice :)

I personally prefer just to be friends with girls. I'm almost 17 and I've never been on a date. Never even kissed a girl. I believe if the right one comes along, I'll get her no matter what. But everyone's different, and if you really feel like asking her out, then go for it! Gambatte!
