i started tryin to learn to draw anime like a week ago and this is what i got so far. just some little faces and eyes and stuff. nuthin fancy. they arent the best quality, i have a bad camera that got dropped or something and my house is so dark its like a dungeon in here  , so not a good combination. the 2nd one i dont know what happened but the color is weird and i think the girl in the 4th pic, looks a little crazy :dizzy: hehe....but here is what i got so far.

It's a good start! Keep it up! :)

Question: where does your avatar come from?

Good job my friend, it is from Crest of the Stars.

Well anyway, your drawings sorta look like mine. Keep practicing, you might wanna consider to look off of some images then start drawing them, but don't trace. Keep it up.

Excellent way to learn! You're already picking up facial expression techniques. Keep showing us your stuff, ok?

here are some more drawings i did lately. i think their starting to get better. that one of the girl in the glasses though looks like she got punched in the eye or something, lol. i tried drawing that stupid eyebrow like 10 times, but i couldnt get it right. and the third one, i just traced the face down really quick but i did all the hair and stuff myself cause i was practicing drawing hair that day. now i just have to learn 3/4 view and bodies.

here's a few more of 'em. the arms, hands, and feet still need work, but I guess I'm makin' a little progress. I think the arms are kinda the right length now, might still be a bit short. Is it just me or does the top of the hair on the one before the last one look a little lop-sided?

Maybe a little lop sided, but that would be a hard style to balance out correctly. I liked the one with glasses! She looks so ... impressed with something. :p

Something that may help you out is to draw very, very light reference frames and such for the body and the position. This will help out with perspective as well. Keep at it! Do you have any colored ones?

what do you mean?

nope, no colored ones yet. i'll have to get some colored pencils or something. any good ones, or can you pretty much just use any kind? i've seen copic markers before, but those things are expensive.
