Thanks guys! As for what she's looking at, well, her character is very, very thoughful. So, it's probably not a question of what she's looking at, but more like what she's thinking about.

Glad you liked it!

I love the movement of the hair. :thumb: Your watercolor effect worked well. It's one of my favorite styles. :)

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Ok, here are some of the initial concept pics for the characters of Bel Canto de Myth. Ezekiel is done in a slightly different style than the other two, because he was the first one I drew. And I know that the Cleric and Chanter pic is off-balanced, but it's two seperate pics crammed into one. Just thought those interested in the story might want to see what they look like.

This is a pic of Shine from Bel Canto. Sorry if it takes a while to load. (aka, I'm too lazy to shrink it down)

:wow!: I really like your Shine. :thumb: I've never really liked pink-haired people, but it works with her. I know, it sounds so racist, but I'm working it out. I've just accepted the fact that some women have blue hair - that's taken a... really, long time. :P

The hair works very well with the entire colour scheme, actually. It suits the overall look. I like it :)

Yes, this seems to be a "thing" of mine. I guess I've always drawn like that because I remember Lightbringer telling me it bugged him too.

Yup, they do. I'll try harder to see the big picture next one I draw.

Now that one, I did do on purpose. I do it often, actually: drawing just the outline of the hand with a few shadings or knucklemarks to imply fingers. Maybe I should use less of that technique.

Ah,

I finally found your album Gypsy!

Hum, well I must say, you've improved quite alot from the last time I've seen your art. My particular fav was the singing girl (I think that was the title, not sure though) in which you did a really good job with the shading and especially the hair. Seriously though, you have become quite good at old photoshop. I'm very impressed, and you should be more then proud.

Also, I see you've been experiemtning with sculpture as well, YAY! Another Sculpture other then me and Eriewolf. :thumb:

But anyways I read that you were using Sculpy instead of super sculpy. Here's a trick if you think the sculpty is too soft (Which it is, I totally agree with you there). What you do is leave it in the fridge or the freezer (No, don't freeze your sculpy) until it get harder from being chilled. Then work on it until it becomes soft again and toss it back into the fridge. Repeat until your done with your sculpy. another cool thing, sculpy and super sculpy can be cooked and re-cooked. So you can pre-cook your sculpture, add more to it, and cook it again. How cool is that. But once you paint it however DO NOT cook it anymore.

Anyways I hope this helps out until you get your hands on some super sculpy. Also, if you need any tips on armature wire and such, give me a ring (I learned from the best. No, serioulsy I did  I learned from Mike Jones and James Stapp, these two guys are the best, and have been sculpting for toy companies, movies companies, and tons of tother things for quite a while {10 years, give or take} . In fact they both worked on Disney's DINOSAUR in which they both did maquettes & the CG models). So lemme know if your interested and I'll pass on the knowledge :thumb:

God Bless,
Archan

I totally dig the color scheme! Also, the inclusion of a shepherd (keep in mind I don't know a huge amount on the stories of most anime or manga) seems like something new and different, while relating it kind of to back in Jesus' day. Too cool, too cool...
