you are truley blessed to have the patience to deal with all of this... i find it trying to deal with my sister for longer than, say, five seconds... i don't know how you can deal with that many trolls in such a short amount of time.

Well, I haven't been checking up on things and frankly the chronology of events is confusing me, but I'm sure that whatever happens, Ashley and the rest of the gang are taking care of things prayerfully. Can't just let people run all over the site just because they don't like it...

I don't know if I can say much here without repeating what everyone else has already said...

You guys are doing great; it's good to see how the Lord has blessed us with such fantastic staff. Keep it up for His glory! ^_^

(And if it's all right, I think I'll bring up these events as a prayer request at Anime Angels; I wasn't kidding when I said in another thread that "prayer is my weapon of choice.")

User jezel banned. Had the same IP as yebe, who was also banned earlier.

Edit: Ban lifted for now due to misunderstanding.

I'm not sure misunderstanding is a good term. They had the same ISP has a banned member, but said they share the comp with a sibling. We have no way to prove this or not, so for now it's lifted.

Well, good job for the admins. I was just one for the beginning of all this, and I'm glad I missed most of it. I would like to send my affirmations, however, for not banning one non-Christian members. He's atheist, but he came on with an attitude of respect. In my opinion, this shows that our admin do not indiscriminately ban everyone who doesn't profess to have the same beliefs as we do. Good job.

Wow. It's interesting to watch this, it's like watching a war. But - we're winning, with God on our side - and Ashley too.

Keep it up guys, just remember that you are most vunerable when you think it's over. Too many people have fallen to that and have fallen because of it. Keep it in mind.

Good job admins, I must say personally it is trying my patience.

I am just as confused as you are. St. Pete explained some of the things that happened yesterday....

I don't think that just trying my patience describes how fed up I feel about what these people are doing. There isn't anything that I have disagreed with the admins on and I am praying for you guys and hope that this ends soon

Someone asked me why Jezel was banned. She shared an IP address with Yebe, a definite confirmed troll, so it was much too dangerous to leave that IP open. It may seem unfair, but we don't have many other options if we want to keep this place safe. Majan, UC, Saint, Keely, MelodyMaker...everyone, I sincerely do appriciate your prayers right now. We'll make it through, of course, but you can imagine how difficult it's been for us. But it is always, always easier knowing your community is behind you; because you guys are the #1 thought behind our actions. Thanks again everyone.

Good call, I agree that, that was a chance that couldn't be taken lightly. There was a great possibility of deception there. My thanks continue to ya'll for providing us with a safe community. So do my prayers. I understand that this is hard, but ya'll are doing an exceptional jorb! God Bless!

Wow... this is utterly amazing. I mean the crap that you guys have to deal with on what seems like a daily basis, but still hold true to your strength and trust in our Lord and... wow.

I know thanking you is like the least I can do and has been done over and over again... but I just cannot even imagine how much you guys have to endure! I get enough smack in emails and such about being a Christian from my Fruits Basket site (why does it ALWAYS have to be about yaoi? T_T) ... but man, you guys get it all. I guess it's to be expected with the type of forum it is, unfortunately.

Just goes back on my thoughts of why pornography is more accepted in today's society than Jesus is. If porn is on TV, people are all over it like some starving person... but if it's Jesus/God/Christianity, they sneer and snicker at it with disgust and hatred. :mutter:

I don't get it. Never will. It's like... where is our society going? It seems to get worse and worse with every second.

Going kinda backwards on what somebody (I'm sorry, I forgot @_@) said regarding keeping bad company... well, I back that 100%. I mean there is a difference between sharing your love with somebody who is unsaved yet interested... than there is to somebody who is unsaved and completely un-interested. I wouldn't want to try and give my testimony to somebody who is spitting in my face and making fun of somebody I love with all my heart, y'know? :stressed:

If there's anything I can do to help, and yeah, I know that's something that's a brave thing to ask being really new here... but if there is, please feel free to ask! ^^; I like the basic attitude of this forum!

a real hacker would have been tearing the site into pieces by now. all the attacks are from kiddies who only knows how to log in, register, and spam/troll away. a site like this guarded with many mods and admins, should be able to go through it easily.

I'm not really worried about hack attacks, the server we're on is managed by my hosts and I should hope they know what they are doing. I doubt vBulletin has any serious vulnerabilites that could be exploited either. The only real way they could hack us would be DDOS, and the hosts would pick up on that fairly fast, as all the other sites on this serve go down too...

I always check the art section, but i haven't been on in a while, when i went there, the guy was already banned and the images were taken off. I know i would have been greatly disturbed, so keep up the good work, guys!
