Possible Site Errors?

is anyone else getting weird error messages when they access CAA, today i've been getting stuff like this:

Warning: main(./includes/functions_bigthree.php): failed to open stream: Too many open files in system in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/showthread.php on line 87

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './includes/functions_bigthree.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /home/virtual/site35/fst/var/www/html/showthread.php on line 87

This happens when the site is too busy or under load. It seems to have calmed down now. (Moved to Comment Box, btw, where bug reports should go.)
