Have you any links to non-English music you like?

I enjoy this Mandarin duet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CloA88shsps

Do you mean non-English language music or music not from England? I think you mean non English language music or music outside U.S, Australia, and any place that has many people who speak English natively or has English as an official language. I'm just checking.

The Serbian "Molitva" is the only non-English, non-Japanese thing I can think of off the top of my head.

And then most of my non-English stuff is anime music. A lot from Macross Frontier ("Triangler", "Lion", "Diamond Crevasse" to name three favorites), because it has a fantastic soundtrack.

I listen to a lot of non-English-language music. Here's some examples:

Japanese - "Danzai no Hana" from Claymore

Korean - "Clap Your Hands" by 2NE1

Gaelic - "Magdainn Mara" by Anne Buckley

Farsi - "Allahi Allah" by Niyaz

Arabic - "Wahashtiny" by Amr Diab

Turkish - "Kal Yanimda" by maNga

German - "Helden" by Apocalyptica (feat. Rammstein)

Spanish - "Alejate" by Josh Groban

Italian - "L'Ultima Notte" by Josh Groban

...aaaand that's about all I can think of for now.

If it's partly in Gaelic and it's pro-IRA, then I'm on board.

Like a terrible person, most of the music I listen to is Japanese. My main excuse for this is that I don't really get (as in, understand) music most of the time anyways, so I tend to just listen to stuff I recognize from anime and thus associate with the anime because finding music is tiresome and I don't listen to music that much.

That was supposed to be my entire post except Xeno reminded me that music in my childhood was composed solely of Irish music, which occasionally had a song in Gaelic.

I actually listen to a fairly sizeable chunk of non-anison Japanese indie rock. Well, used to, because more and more bands are getting signed onto labels which get them into anison stuff, but oh well. So maybe I'll talk about those ones.

Mass of the Fermenting Dregs was one of my favourite bands until its untimely demise this year. They really delightfully intense, and seeing them live was really awesome. Lead vocalist and bassist Miyamoto Natsuko is still working on something, and we've been told to look forward to something in the future. Merpeoples is another great band in the same vein and they're still around and kicking. Their stuff is a bit more upbeat. Akai Ko-en is a newer band, who's a lot like Merpeoples. Until recently, they were extremely secretive and are swift at getting their stuff taken down on video sharing sites. Spangle call Lilli line are super-chill. So are Soutaiseiriron. advantage Lucy are a nice poppy band. Midori are an awesome band with a chaotic and frenetic sound who unfortunately died a year or two ago. Their leader, Mariko Goto has got her start on a solo project.

Honourable mention goes to Rin Toshite Shigure, whose first anison single was this season.

I didn't post this before because in French is reads something bad. But I don't think that's what this K-group meant. "Newest". Probably. The romanji reads "nyo-i-seuh-teuh" I think.

Bach's Ave Maria is a pain to sing because of the extremely high notes, but it sounds like a dream. Italian and Latin are actually easier languages to sing in since the vowels aren't pinched like the English i.

I have found this messianic website is fun to sample through : http://www.messianicmusic.com/review1.htm
I haven't bought anything from it yet though.
Luke 10:25-27 Mark 12:28-34 Matthew 22 Deuteronomy 6:4-5 Deuteronomy 10:12
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

Missa Papae Marcelli by Palestrina (Latin)
Geistliches Lied by Brahms (German)
Liebster Gott, Wann Werd Ich Sterben by J.S. Bach (German)
Im Abendrot by Strauss (German)
Bogoroditse Devo by Arvo Part (either Estonian or Church Slavic, not sure which)
Spaseniye Sodelal (“Salvation is Created”) by Pavel Chesnokov (Russian)

Rock and pop:

“Entre Ciel et Mer” by Sleepthief (French)
“Nära” by Blindside (Swedish)
“Jesus Kom Til Jorden for å Dø” by Extol (Norwegian) . . . is not on YouTube anywhere, so here's "Innbydelse" instead
“Det Rakner!” by In Vain (Norwegian)
“На границе” by Night Snipers (Russian) – couldn’t find this particular song, but you can listen to some of their other stuff on MySpace
“Birds” by Sakamoto Maaya (Japanese)
“Zero” by Alan Kuo (Mandarin)
“Circle” by Code Y (Korean)

World:

Le Mystere de Voix Bulgares (Bulgarian)
Let others believe in the God who brings men to trial and judges them. I shall cling to the God who resurrects the dead.
