I've never heard of Knightfall. What's it about? (And I can see you like Puzzle Quest oo! I love it, except that using skulls to do damage bothers me slightly.)

I forget Knightfall, i think it's your basic save the princess thing, but Knightfall 2 has more of a plot, overworld map, etc... You have health and stamina, and a freakin huge drill! You match blocks that are the same color and next to each other, and drill through them. You can rotate the screen, which is important, because when you remove blocks, more blocks fill in and everything falls downward. There are monsters, and the only safe way to approach them is by falling on them from above. You get treasure, spell scrolls, health, stamina potions, and you have to find a key to unlock the door to progress to the next stage. It's very old school arcade feeling, but in a great way! I usually play on Armorgames.com, but you might be able to find it somewhere else. It is a free game.

I tried it out, but frankly I didn't like it that much... It's a little bit too old school for me. No offence thought, it's just not my style.

Actually... yes and no. As moderator i'll be taking on the roles of many people, so i have to try not to get too attached to any one of them so they all get the chance to shine and play an important role in the story. This will also give you more variety of characters to interact with, heroes and villains, champions and mooks.

That is, i could make a GMPC if you guys really wanted me to, but when i'm role playing i'm used to just role playing, and when i'm GM i'm used to just being GM. I could make up a guide character i suppose... That could be fun.

About Knightfall, don't sweat it. Took me a while to get used to, and then i think i only played it because it was a unique challenge, not because it was that great.

I didn't actually get to play Puzzle Quest, but from the images it looks neat.

I'm on it! I've already contacted them once, and they said ok... then nothing... (we may start without them and add them later, i know one of them is busy moving and working at two jobs).

I'm not sure where you're getting Toughness 3 from though. Also, don't forget to add your Vitality to your Health, and your Will to your Vigor.

I love the Gate Key idea, great plot device, we'll be working it in...

Oh, and i just have to ask: are you guy's new avatars your characters???

I almost forgot to ask, how often do we want to play? twice a week good? What i mean is, i can post updates for "the world" on Monday, then afterward you can post any time, then i post another update on friday, and you can post anytime till the next monday, etc... How have you done it in other RP threads? Is posting just free for all?

Actually, i'd try not to just pop it out of nowhere, but it might happen.

Yeah, human's don't actually get toughness unless you take it as a Trait, they aren't among the naturally thick skinned races like Dwarves and Saurians.

Well, i think we're ready, i'll have to keep badgering my friends to join us, but they can hop in at a later date (they are a level ahead of you guys right now anyway, so it would only be fair).
