When the world is lonely...

Postby Madeline » Tue May 11, 2004 5:50 pm

Hm. Life feels dull and grey...
The days pass me by like the wind in my hair.
I am tired. Tired of bieng so many people at once...feeling so many things at once. I am tempted to fall, to let go of grace and hope of a bright future...I seek rest, but I find none. I give, and I take, and each day robs me of life.
Where is life? Why do I have the answer to so many questions that I would leave alone...alone. Such a lonely word. Lonely like the words that the people will never read...the words written upon my heart.
There are times when I seek hopelessness just as I pursue my Lord...
For I am as a starving man dreaming of food. Will I ever wake?
Foolishness is a tiresome business, but I choose it in stead of wisdom.

Hi Madeline. I'm sorry you're feeling this way. You're not alone, though. This reminded me quite a bit of the Psalms of David...

Wow. Such real feeling and emotion. Have you thought about entering the upcoming poetry contest? With stuff like that, you'd be quite a contender.

Once again, you have all offered your support selflessly and without fail. Your words are like the moon on a clear night, shining the light of the Son on one surrounded by the darkness of hopelessness and doubt...l

I doubt this. However, I have volunteered to be a judge...
