5 Love Languages is a LULU PUBLISHED BOOK?

This is a HUGE seller, and it's a LULU BOOK...

For those of you who don't know, Lulu is a Publish on Demand company. The idea I'd always heard is that the "big sellers" on Lulu are 300 or so sales, and they sell mostly to OTHER LULU customers and to the writer themselves, giving copies to their friends.

This is why I've been pursuing standard publishing for my book. However, I wonder if this is true -- this book was published by Lulu and sold in the hundreds of thousands -- then are there others like this?

I understand my book has a VERY different audience than this one, and doesn't inherently draw an audience the way that simply the title would for this (my book doesn't promise an understanding of Love... I mean, duh) but are there other examples of PoD books being really successful?

I am pretty sure the book predates Lulu.

EDIT: yep

So... why would Lulu be pushing books they don't publish? How CAN they?

Ok... Nothing to see here. Still gonna be going the "print manuscripts, write summary, send to publishers" route for my book... *sigh*
