What, no love for Taku Iwasaki? Gurren Lagann and Soul Eater's OSTs kicked major butt.

Also, Darker than Black and Cowboy Bebop, obviously. Baccano!'s is amazing, and Durarara!!'s is pretty awesome too. I love FMA Brotherhood's too.

The entire series of Kara no Kyoukai has amazing music. Composed by Yuki Kajiura, I'd expect no less. My personal faves from it are..

- Fukan Fuukei - M01
- Tsuukaku Zanryuu - M19 + M20
- Mujun Rasen - M23

And then the official PV featuring Oblivious by the band Kalafina formed by Yuki Kajiura is also amazing.

Cowboy Bebop - the best partof the show in my opinion)
Gundam Wing - everytime the show opens with the ominous sounding brass as the Wing Gundam's wings unfold gives me chills. The openings are great too, especially in the last quarter of the show
Neon Genesis Evangelion/End of Evangelion - The music is ALWAYS perfect.

How could I forget? Both OSTs are excellent, some of Kano's finest work. Mrs. Doc likes them a whole lot too.

Both FMA soundtracks are awesome, though I'm particularly partial to the first one, because Michiru Oshima is one of my absolute favorite Japanese composers.

Other awesome soundtracks:
Haibane Renmei
Wolf's Rain
Tsubasa Chronicle
Gunslinger Girl

And I love the credits song from Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade.

Pretty much anything by Youko Kanno is fantastic.

It's hard for me to choose, because there are so many anime soundtracks I listen to, but here are some of my favorites:

12 Kingdoms
Millennium Actress and Berserk (Hirasawa Susumu)
.Hack//Sign and Aquarion (Kajiura Yuuki)
Haibane Renmei
Last Exile
Heroic Legend of Prince Arislan
Vampire Princess Miyu (Kawai Kenji)

The Vampire Princess Miyu soundtracks are not particularly remarkable if you listen to them by themselves, but the way that they match the atmosphere of the anime perfectly is amazing.

Isn't that kind of redundant to list Darker than BLACK and then put the quote from Yoko Kanno? You know she did the music for it, right?

I have seen the first episode of Darker than BLACK, so I'm adding it.
Though I can't remember most of the soundtracks for anime I've seen, I can remember:
Darker Than BLACK (Yoko Kanno)
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (Yuki Kajiura)
Witch Hunter Robin (Taku Iwasaki)

It probably doesn't help that I haven't exactly SEEN most anime out there; I've been reading them most of the time, I guess.

Yes, I do know she did the music for that. However I was reiterating her awesomeness in general beyond just DtB and GitS: SAC.
