All these Favorites questions...How am I supposed to answer these? :)
rocklobster wrote:Favorite Disney characters?
I like the Beast in Beauty and the, but he became boring when he turned back into a prince.
rocklobster wrote:Favorite Disney movie?
It's been a while since I've seen any Disney movies, but I had a great time watching Enchanted recently. It's also possible there are other movies I've liked that I didn't realize were Disney. It's rather easy to blank out during that castle CG...
rocklobster wrote:Got any pets?
I have a cat, whose name is Mary. If it is possible for a cat to have ADD, she does. I don't even mean hyperactivity. She's just really weird. She had a sister by the name of Martha (guess which sisters we named them after) who was a very proper feline cat, for comparison.

You find a blank check belonging to someone else. What do you do?

No, but now I wish I did. I could have gotten one at a Mario-themed booth at an anime convention, but I went for a goomba with a Luigi-hat and a koopa.

If I knew who they were I'd see if I could give it back to them. Otherwise I'd rip it up and throw it away. Checks cost what, 1 cent?

Favorite philosophers?
Got any favorite saints?

The NES, and yes. Though, maybe that doesn't count. Besides that, I don't remember what my favorite toy was. I always felt like if I picked one toy to be my favorite it wasn't fair to the other toys.
rocklobster wrote:Favorite philosophers?
Any time I pick a philosopher to be my favorite he goes and says something I don't agree with. Unless it's C. S. Lewis or some such. I'm gonna have to pick him as my favorite.
rocklobster wrote:Got any favorite saints?
I am not particularly educated about the saints as I come from a Protestant background, but I think my favorite of those I know about is Saint Thomas Aquinas.

Yes. Most of them are filled with books I haven't read myself. I would read more books except that my eyesight is not very good. So I rely on my mother (a veritable reading machine) to tell me which books are the best.

At least you realize how lucky you are to have a reader like that in your family. I've never met anyone who reads as fast as her.

Recently she has been reading aloud the Miles Vorkosigan series to me and Dad. It has very quickly become my favorite literary series (for whoever was about to ask me that question).

Have you ever read any of the Warriors books?
Have you ever read any LOTR?
Do you like Led Zeppelin?

No, I haven't.
rocklobster wrote:Have you ever read any LOTR?
Yes. At least the three main books. Also the Hobbit, if that counts. I haven't read any of the spinoff stories.
rocklobster wrote:Do you like Led Zeppelin?
I haven't heard them enough to remember what they sound like, but I don't think I disliked them.

Led Zeppelin did some songs based on LOTR. Look up these three songs on youtube:
1. "Battle of Evermore"
2. "Ramble On"
3. "Misty Mountain Hop"
Got any favorite J-pop artists?

Yeah, by the name of ゆうゆ. Here's a playlist of some of their best works.

They've got some really weird and creative sounds going on. Of their songs I think エレクトロエレジー is currently my favorite.

What do you think of Power Rangers?
Do you like Star Trek? What about the spinoffs?

Not much. I never watched it when it was new.
rocklobster wrote:Do you like Star Trek? What about the spinoffs?
I am currently watching the original series for the first time. Quite fun. The only other Star Trek thing I've seen was the recent movie with Sylar--I mean Zachary Quinto as Spock.

Don't forget to check out the movies. They're even more awesome. Especially 2-4. You can pretty much skip the first movie.
Most awesome non-C.S. Lewis book you ever read?
You like any sports?

John. :)
rocklobster wrote:You like any sports?
I don't play any sports, and I don't generally watch them on TV, though I'm not opposed to watching them occasionally. Usually it's golf (my dad's a fan) or American football (my extended family watches it a lot). And it's not really a sport, but I did Bible Quizzing for several years when I was a teenager. It's more intense than you'd think.
