Yeah, Hachimaki started out that way, but as the series progressed, he really did soften up a great deal. Oh darn it all, now i feel like having a Planetes marathon this weekend!

paul from pokemon have you met that guy he is...:cruel remember those beaten animals on tv he did that except with a chimchar......furthermore he has shown more hatred for his enemies and his allies everything is a investment to him and he can cut it and move on and leave them broken and shattered.He is influential in all the right ways making his enemies doubt themselfs and everyone around them.

unforunatly he is making it a actual show again which...............was considered impossible for many years.If only if only it was dubbed....alas i think japan gave it up and made a manga spin off.

Let's see:

Completely unfounded arrogance.
Always saying embarrassing things about her friend in public simply because she's jealous.
Her treatment of Chiyo, including almost drowning her
Taking her kids out of class to do sports try to get them to like her only to unfairly set up the teams and making fun of the weaker team
Renigging on her promises to her students.
Trying to insult people with the non-sequitur insults. Mostly Nyamo, but the statement still stands.
Being 110% focused on herself.

Mainly because he got in between Van and Hitomi, though I'd call Hitomi just as much of a jerk in that case for falling for him when Van was much more suited to her. In a certain scene with Allen and Hitomi, it was like there were these huge flashing signs in front of my eyes that said, "JERK!!!" Still, Allen isn't as much of a jerk as the other ones I mentioned.

Oh, and Kimbley from FMA: Brotherhood is also a jerk. A smooth, slick, awesome-to-watch kind of jerk, but a jerk nonetheless.

Light Yagami (Death Note): I loved him... ;( But he was indeed a jerk. Why do I say that? Because as awesome as Light was, L was better. Plus, the way he used Misa was extremely irritating.
