What are your favorite Fantasy series? Here are some of mine, in no particular order:
Harry Potter
Narnia
Wheel of Time
Sword of Truth
Circle of Magic
Wrinkle in Time
Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Didn't we already have a favorite fantasy series thread? I could be mistaken, but I thought someone (possibly you) posted this one before...

(Check similar threads at the bottom of the screen).

Yeah, but it was years ago, so rather than grave-digging, I just thought I'd follow the rules and start it up again.

I really like fantasy, or at least I really want to like it. Of all the authors and titles I've tried (and there have been quite a few), the only one that I've really been able to get into is Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Whenever I start a new one, I've gotta go out and buy the next so I can jump straight on into it when I'm done. And as a matter of fact, for this literary obsession I have our own CAA to thank. :thumb:

The Lord of the Rings (debatably a trilogy or one book)
the Harry Potter series
the Old Kingdom trilogy/series (I think he's writing more) by Garth Nix
the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (and Sanderson, now)
The Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix
the Annals of the Western Shore trilogy by Ursula K. Le Guin

...I would put down Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy, but I've only read half of Assassin's Apprentice. I love it to death, though.
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

I have no obligation to not offend you if I'm speaking the truth. The truth is supposed to offend you; that's how you know you don't got it."

Wheel of Time and A Song of Ice and Fire if I want serious fantasy. If I want kick you in the face makes no sense awesome BA fun, I pick up The Dresden Files. It's written by a local author and SO MUCH FUN.
