My favorite quote would be from the major himself ^^; he comes off as so funny and serious when he needs to be.

Oh, there are way too many good quotes. I can't remember the exact wording, but I really liked Ed's line at the end that went something like, "Maybe Equivalent Trade doesn't exist. But I have to try...for you, Al."

And then, of course: "But I'll have to come with you."

"And why's that?"

"Because when I'm not around, you just turn into a jerk."

"Thanks for the endorsement."

To put a spin on the post again how about "What is your favorite episode of Fma or Fma brotherhood ? and has anyone seen "Fairy Tail" I like it and think the main is pretty kol it comes off seeming like one piece in a way.

Edward: Fine, tell him I'd never die before him, you morally bankrupt colonel with a God complex!

Greed(loose quote):Come on, brothers and sister, the fires of Hell are fine, I'll go check them out ahead!

Basque Grand(Quite possibly my favorite minor character): Sir, here's an interesting statistic. Did you know that it's estimated that over half of all officer deaths during this war have been attributed to friendly fire?
Officer What are you talking-
-Grand casually holds up a rifle and shoots the officer in the gut-
Hughes:Hey look, a stray bullet hit the commander.

I would have to say my favorite episode of the original series would have to be episode 35, Theory of Avarice. For those who aren't as a big a fanboy as I am, it's the one where Edward fights Greed.

I durno about Brotherhood episodes, but my favorite chapter would have to be a tie between anything that has happened recently, and the operation with Mustang+Company and Lust.

One of my favorite episodes from the original is episode 47, Sealing the Homunculus. Not trying to give anything away, it's the one where Ed fights Sloth (Lust and Wrath are there too.) Episode 35 is a good one too.

More Quotes because I like them so much:

Greed: They don't call me Greed for nothing. I want money. I want women, status and power. I want everything this world's selling and eternity's topping the list!

Winry: Who needs natural when you've got automail? (or something like that)

Oh, 47 was genius too. Third favorite episode. My second would have to be episode 51 though, even though it was the stupidest ending for such a genius series, Mustang's confrontation with
Bradley
was extremely well-done, just the buildup, the chemistry, and the confrontation. The Deus Ex Machina at the end made it not as awesome as Ed vs. Greed, but it was still good.
