I would like to point out that in the Yahtzee video of Sonic Unleashed he COMPLETELY justifies my earlier rant about how "werehog" is wrong and stupid and how it would be more correctly called a hedgehogwolf.

In fact he almost says my entire post word for word.

KIND OF EERIE HUH?

Oh well. I am vindicated!

Well, he kind of tears every game apart, but makes me laugh hysterically doing it.

I just watched his review for Unleashed.
It was glorious.

I actually liked unleashed and the black knight looks pretty promising (despite the sword).
What I really want is sonic back on Mobius (which i just recently learned is earth in the future).

Only in the comics. In the games there is no such place as "Mobius."

Sonic games always took place on Earth as far as Japan was concerned. It was only the stupidity of Sega of America that invented a place called "Mobius." Why? We may never know, but America is notorious for changing video game plots for no reason...take Super Castlevania IV, which is a remake of the original Castlevania game, yet NoA made up a plot and tried to say it was a new game.

I'm also not sure why they said Link to the Past (known as Triforce of the Gods in Japan) took place before the original Zelda games, especially since Miyamoto himself has come forth and said that's simply not true.

So Sonic is on Earth, and has always been on Earth, and if you believe that a place called "Mobius" exists in the Sonic games then I would like to sell you this magic rock that keeps away tigers.

My apologies, Tommy, but when a young man starts fondly reminiscing about games that were released when he wasn't yet fully potty-trained, well, I think I can hardly be blamed for wondering. But maybe your memory really is that good, and maybe you really are such a lifelong, hardcore gamer. Maybe you were playing a Game Boy whilst gestating in your mother's womb.

And yes, I do enjoy mocking bad grammar. But if it makes you feel any better, I'd do that to anybody. Not just you.

And Nate, I noticed the werehog thing as soon as I saw it in Yahtzee's review, sometime after your "Etymology" rant. I guess at the time I was just filing it under "Nate's strength being his weakness again."

My childhood...shattered.

Well, in any case, I want Sonic's Earth to go back to the way it was then. Not our style of Earth.
"Who is this?" they said to Me
'That the wind and waves obey
Come, let's hang Him on a tree
That His reign should pass away'
But here I am I say to you
Though you turn away, it is My will
To love you for forevermore
Peace be still, peace be still

Never have cared for Sonic and probably never will. Just a bit too weird for my liking to play as a blue hedgehog who thinks he's too cool and runs at supersonic speeds.

I was almost five when I got Sonic 2.
I was potty-trained.

I don't play video games that much anymore.
However from the ages of 1-14, that's really almost all I did.
I'm almost 18 now and the only games I really still play are the Metal Gear ones.
I wish I didn't sell my Genesis. :/

Maybe you were playing a Game Boy whilst gestating in your mother's womb.

Funny you say that.
My Dad's friend's son gave me an original GameBoy when I was three years old.
Of course I had no idea what I was doing, but I remember the game was "Kirby's Dreamland."

Ahh...good times.
I still have my original GameBoy too. :]

I played the 360 version... UGH! How am I supposed to control the werehog! Why does it always seem that sonic is always on ice while running in a straight line? I HATE THIS GAME!
(note: I didn't buy it, the friend Tommy was talking about did.)

Didn't EJ buy it and you borrowed it from him?
I have no recollection of stating EJ's existence in this entire thread.
