One of the reasons I wanted to leave CAA was because I wasted so much time (among other reasons, don't ask me to get into it, really)
Well, I've successfully (for a few months) avoided posting here, I haven't been so good about staying off Kotaku and another forum... I'm so addicted to game news it's like my fingers are programmed to type in kotaku.com into the address bar...
Time wasting is so huge with me... Wasting time, getting caught in things, feeling the urgency to finish non-important things (like, say, finish lucky star or do curves on all my pictures to make sure they have perfect color... even though I've done it like 3 times already) which distract me from things I really do need to do... I end up leaving it until the very end, and though I usually manage to get done with big things, I'm so stressed out by that point, I know it's not good for my health...
If I try to do things early, though, it's almost like my brain shuts down... My body fights me, trying to get me to do ANYTHING but what I'm supposed to be doing...
So, yeah, I'd just like prayer to eliminate procrastination and task anxiety from my life... And to be able to not care about things like gaming tabloids...
Things have reverted a lot since my fast... I sort of want to do another 7 day fast, but without my whole church doing it and something huge to pray for, I don't have the willpower to keep it up... I keep thinking about how I can't go without eating or without media because of school or friends or whatever...
Anyhow, speaking of distractions, I could go off on this stuff which could lead me to other stuff until this happens:
So... Yeah... Addiction to timewasting / procrastination, distractions, and reverting to my old self just because time passes... Those are thing things I want rid of.
