Slumdog Millionaire

Is anyone else looking forward to this movie? Has anyone else even heard of it?

Here's the trailer.

Short synopsis(Taken from IMDB: The story of how impoverished Indian teen Jamal Malik became a contestant on the Hindi version of "Who Wants to be A Millionaire?" -- an endeavor made without prize money in mind, rather, an effort to prove his love for his friend Latika, who is an ardent fan of the show.

Directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Millions) and Loveleen Tandan (Brick Lane, Vanity Fair). Written by Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty, Among Giants, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day).

There's a whole slew of free showings, you can hopefully find one near you here.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

It's definitely on my list, but I have no idea when I'll see it.

That's terribly unfortunate. I'm really hoping to see it while it's still in theaters over here. I've been keeping my eye on it for a long, long time.
