the Guess the movie line game

Postby rocklobster » Sun Oct 26, 2008 4:24 am

Here's how this works. I'll post a line from a movie and you guess the movie it's in. Then you post one too and the next person guesses. Let's see how good we are at this. I'll start with an easy one:

"I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too!"
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."
--Jeremiah 1:5

"Just....where did you say you were from?"

"Well...I've traveled farther than you have, I'm sure."

"............Try me."

Obi-Wan said it in Star Wars.

Here is mine:

Norman Bates from Psycho. (Just watched that for the first time the other day.)

Oh duh, I need to put another movie line. Umm...

Col. Jessep from A Few Good Men

"I've fought in two World Wars and countless smaller ones on three continents. I led thousands of men into battle with everything from horses and swords to artillery and tanks. I've seen the headwaters of the Nile, and tribes of natives no white man had ever seen before. I've won and lost a dozen fortunes, KILLED MANY MEN and loved only one woman with a passion a FLEA like you could never begin to understand. That's who I am."

Robert Duvall's character from Secondhand Lions. Quite possibly one of the best movie quotes ever.

"A man has got to know his limitations."
