I have a praise --a big one.
You guys already know that I found my dad after looking for him for 5 years--and you know the situation. That is a praise in itself (not his cancer, but the fact that I found him.)

But on the same day, that morning, I had an appointment with DARS --the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services --to discuss the findings of all my testing over the summer.
Copied from my LiveJournal (because I'm tired and feeling lazy).
"I went to my appointment with DARS at 11:30 (formerly the Texas Rehab Commission) --and I was awarded a huge amount of accommodations and adaptive equipment. I will be receiving a new desktop computer with software that will allow me to speak and the computer will type or open programs, a printer, an eye doctor's appointment to get new glasses, an appointment to see a doctor for my stomach problems (that I've been dealing with for over 2 years --PRAISE Jesus!), they're going to pay for the rest of my school and for my books next semester, AND help me find a job! I felt overwhelmed! I had to wait a long time for help, but God provided! "

I am still in shock. This is beyond what I could have dreamed. God is good!
I go to the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be on the right track to figure out what my stomach's problem is.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."

Praise Jesus! That is awesome Sheenar, I'm so happy for you!
I don't know what broke to make you like this, but I must be broken too if I'm standing here praising your destructiveness. -Rock (Black Lagoon)

That sounds great
Everybody was haiku writing, Their wits were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightening, But they wrote with expert rhyming
