As the morning rays broke through the windows, Siobhan slowly opened one cerulean blue eye. Wincing at the bright intruder, she noticed that she had fallen asleep sitting against the rigid, ocean-themed wall.
She didn't even change clothes from the whole ordeal yesterday!

After switching into a white tanktop (That had angel wings as an insignia) and a pair of black tight-fit jeans, she walked over to Unico's room and knocked on the door quietly, whispering.
"Hey, Uni...."
She noticed her voice was relatively hoarse.
"Uni, may I come in?"[/font]

The door opened, revealing a stoic looking Unico in its midst. Lifting his head up, his golden eyes peering down on Siobhan in a lofty gaze. Unico kept his tone in a hush as he replied.

"Of course, Siobhan. Yet, I'm not convinced you should be so eager in the morning. Especially not after the recent ordeals."

Unico took a step back, allowing Siobhan to pass inside his chamber. His ornate, silk robe rustled quietly along with each step, almost as if it understood the need for silence.

Gentle closing the door behind him, Unico turned his attention to Siobhan.

"Now, what exactly is this about?"

[font="palatino Linotype"]Siobhan stepped into Unico's chamber, her footfalls echoing in her ears.
When she spoke, it barely rose above a whisper, due to her throat hurting, and the sense of serenity in the room that she felt need not be disturbed.

"I...." She didn't turn to face Unico when she spoke, afraid to face him.
"I wanted to say that I was sorry for everything that happened. And, that I think you for helping me..."

She fidgeted, shifting her weight from one foot to the other, biting her lip at the same time.
"I wholly appreciate everything you have done for my sake."[/font]

A smile of satisfaction shattered Unico's cold exterior. Ever so gently, he slipped his icy hand into Siobhan's. In an ariose tone, he whispered.

"Beloved Siobhan... I truly am delighted by you visitation, yet something is amiss. I was not the only one that rescued fair maiden, all the same, you come to me first. Could this indicate a hidden longing, Siobhan?"

"It could very much be so..."
She smiled warmly, her eyes narrowing calmly as she lightly squeezed his hand.
Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, she faced him, and bowed deeply out of respect.
Her cerulean eyes never met his molten gold ones.[/font]

Maxine slowly woke up from her napping spot high in the trees, her stomach finally convincing her to get up. She yawned as she adjusted herself on the tree limb to climb down. Turning into her Marten Anichi form, she started jump to lower branches. She stopped to scan the land below her for any trace of food. When she spotted a rabbit frolicking in the nearby foliage, she quickly and silently made her way to the ground. As she stalked up to the unsuspecting rabbit and readied herself to pounce, her stomach loudly growled, alerting the rabbit of her presence. The rabbit quickly dashed off into some thorned shrubbery. "Drat.. I almost had it if it weren't for my pesky stomach.. And I'm way too tired to chase it right now.." She sighed as she rubbed her stomach. "Patience darling.. Food will come soon.." She reassured as she went back to stalking the land.

[Kung_Fu_Master]

Jericho awoke to cold, wet grass and earth below his stomach. "Darn, must of fell off the roof again. " He slowly walked to the kitchen too sleepy, and lazy to clean the grass from his jacket, hoping no one will bother him.

[Nami]

OOC: I would love to re-join in this ... it's a new right.. I am also not clear on something... do you want me to disregard everything Unico said?

OOC: Alrighty! And Kisho is going to find Maxine, Lil' Ninja ^^

IC: Kisho sat on the rooftop today, he normally skulked in his room, but today he wanted to be outside for a nice change of scenery. Kisho took a deep breath of the fresh breeze as it swirled and surged past him, he caught an unusual scent in it. "Hm?" he opened his eyes and scanned the ground, but found nothing. "Must've come from farther away." Kisho stood up and leaped off the roof, landing neatly on his feet.

Then he glanced back at the house, feeling a shudder come on, and then took off, following the scent. 'If it's no one we know, it must be a lone Anichi.'

Affinity Solus has taken the time, (since she was already in the orphanage) to go to the library, though she was sure she knew everything there was to know already, she was still curious, and she had to wonder if any of the Anichi children had ever been in the library.

Affinity pushed one of the massive doors open and stepped inside, the door didn't make a sound as she closed it and glanced around the room. It was dusty, but it was recent dust, perhaps a week old. Affinity pranced over to a shelf and read the sign; "A-C"

She smiled and decided this was the best place to start, she looked at the books eagerly and started to pull ones off the shelf, reading and flipping through them. It was then that she came across an interesting book; "The Diary of An Anichi" Affinity perked and flipped it open.

"Dear Diary,

That seems rather ridiculious, this is going to be more of a journal than a Diary. Do I shant be starting my pages off like that anymore. Now, onto more important things. Today I woke up and found something very odd on my front porch, it was a baby. At first glance this is all you could see, so I took the child in and kept her warm, when she started to cry, I tried to feed her.. but she wouldn't eat. So I lifted her from her wrapping and stared in amazement... coming out of the area where a human's tail-bone would be...was in fact, a tail. It was long and black, and twitched as she cried.

I was unsure of what to do with her at the time, and realized why the parent had left her here. I also wanted to be rid of such a strange child, and attempted to get rid of her several times. But I could never follow through. Her eyes held unspeakable knowledge, and me being a scientist... well I just couldn't pass it up.

So I decided once she was old enough, I would see what she was capable off..."

Affinity's eyebrows went up and she grinned, and started to flip the page...

As Maxine slinked through the tall grass that covered most of her animal body, she heard a twig snap behind some bushes, then dead silence. She smirked as she lunged towards the bush. Two hares bolted for their burrow when they saw her coming. With ease, she ran in front of them and forced them to run another direction, away from their burrow. She could easily catch them once they were in the burrow, but it was more fun for her this way. She sped up, catching up with the first hare and with one swift move, crippled it. She then left that hare and bolted after the other one. She lowered herself so the grass totally covered her body and then waited. She watched as the hare stopped, assuming it lost her. She crept up to it and got ready to pounce. "Gotcha." She smirked. Before she could do anything, a golden eagle swooped down and grabbed the rabbit. She quietly backed away out of the eagles sight. "Great.. One of the animals that preys on my type just haad to show up.." She mumbled as she headed back to the other rabbit.

OOC: Nami, have Kish mess with the other rabbit before she gets there.

[Nami]

OOC: Roger!

IC: Kisho had slowed his pace, he had learned to use caution when approaching unknown Anichi, but when he peered around the tree... nothing was there but a hurt rabbit. Kisho narrowed his eyes and walked toward it and bent down next to it, "oh, you poor thing... how could someone just leave you?" Kisho's tan hands reached out and picked up the rabbit, and he gently pet it's head.

"Perhaps I can get you back before whatever did this gets back here." Kisho stood up and turned to leave the area.

OOC:...Kisho being nice... not something anyone would normally see.. note he was nice sense no one else was around XDD

As Maxine neared the spot she left the hare, she heard a mans voice. She silently moved behind the man, her body low to the ground. When she looked up at him, she saw that he was holding her food. "Don't you dare.." She narrowed her eyes. She absolutly hated when people messed with her food, and on top of that, she was already hungry and irritable. She moved in front of him to block his path. "That's mine." She growled at him. She got ready to attack. Even though her animal form was no bigger than a house cat, she could still do some damadge with her sharp claws and teeth.

OOC: She has problems with food aggression XD

Unico slipped his cold hand underneath Siobhan's chin, gently forcing her to look him in the eyes. Gazing back, he saw the beautiful aqua gems that had first captivated him.
"Please, Siobhan. Your formalities make this awkward... if you will recall, you are older then me. I should be the one showing you my gratitude. For many, many reasons. Some still unknown to me."

Running his hand through her hair, he whispered sweetly.

"Now, what shall we do next..?"

She straightened back up, and surreptitiously examined the ornate silk robe that seemed to suit Unico's personality quite well.
As she replied, her eyes moved back to his gaze.

"Whatever you would like, master"
She chuckled at this, loving a bit of sarcasm every now and then.[/font]

Glad to see the odd sight of no one in the kitchen Jericho grabbed his regular two apple and went outside to walk around the orphanage for the first time in a long time. He had bearly walked five feet when he heard a comotion in the words not far from him.

"Great, sounds like another fight going on." He walk over to the area and found Kisho and some girl fight over a rabbit. He looked at both of them as if they were idiots and asked, "What are you two doing?"

[Nami]

OOC: FYI Kung Fu ^^; They are kinda far away from the Orphanage...

IC: Kisho jumped away from her voice and then watched her get in front of him, "Hey woah!" he held up one hand, "you shouldn't have left it to die. You should have taken it and gone while you had it." Kisho kept his arm wrapped securely around the rabbit, "Now listen.." he said, knowing she would transform any minute, "if you are really that hungry, why not come back to he orphanage.. we can offer you something much better than this spindly rabbit." Kisho kept an even tone the whole time, his eyes only narrowed once, he was fairly proud of himself.

Affinity was now sitting on a chair near the empty fireplace, the chair was soft, albeit a little dusty. She was to consumed in the "diary" to care about the dust at the moment.

"This child is only three years old... and already so strong. She has moved my entire dresser to the other side of the room, and already she has climbed down the side of my house three times today. I believe she is going for the gold.

She has also gained the ability to speak, thanks to my teachings, she has asked me why she doesn't have a name. I told her, "because, you aren't my child, I never thought of a name for you." she seemed a little confused, and then I said; "If you would like, once you find something you like a lot, I will name you it, if it's appropriate." she agreed to that rather cheerfully.

I've been watching her progress very closely, she is an amazing child, I got her a martial arts teacher, I heard they are very good. He is training her in all his arts, he knows three of them. Incredible thing Martial Arts. She grows stronger by the day, but I fear her secret may be let out around her Master. Well, no need to worry just yet.."

"It's been an entire year since we spoke of her not having a name, and she has come to me... "Lily" she wants to be called, rather fitting I think. I have figured out that Lily, is some sort of abomination. But she couldn't have just come like that, I am fairly certain something did this to her... and I intend to find out."

Affinity paused, "...I wonder if he ever found out what caused the Anichi..." she looked back down at the book..

"It happened today, it scared the living daylights out of me. Lily transformed into a black cat, for normal eyes it would look no more than a house cat, but that's where they would be wrong. Lily has transformed into a baby Panther, I did some research on the type of cat and found out about them.... This is all wrong.

And Again today, something scared me, someone knocked on my door and when I opened it, a man in uniform was standing there, he tipped his hat to me and handed me a piece of paper. I wasn't sure what it was until I read it... they were going to kill all the "monsters"

I can only assume that they are talking about children like Lily, and then it dawned on me, there are more than just Lily, I had to find some of them and see if their rate of progress was the same, but most importantly I need to find out what is changing our babies into animals.. I must also protect Lily.. from this threat.

OOC: BTW KFM, Maxine is in her animal form.

IC: Maxine huffed. "He stole my food and I'm trying to get it back." She said to the boy matter-of-fact without taking her eyes off Kisho. "I happen to like rabbit. And FYI, I left it because I was chasing another hare that ended up getting eaten by a golden eagle. Now can I please have the rabbit." She saw that he didn't want to give her the rabbit so she figured she'd come at it differently. "Oh fine. I'll let you keep the rabbit in exchange for other food." She said with a pouting expression and tone. "But why are you offering me food? A trap maybe? Or are you a fellow Anichi?"

[Kung_Fu_Master]

"Just let her have it Kisho.", his tone of voice sounded as if he was talking to two children fighting over a toy, "If she wishs to fall in to the temptation of her beast then let her, it's none of our problems."

[Nami]

Kisho rolled his eyes at Jericho, "She's not unstable like me so therefore it doesn't effect her the same, besides I couldn't give it back! It goes against my conscious, if I hadn't seen it.. she could have it."

Kisho turned his attention back to Maxine, "It's not a trap, and yes I am an Anichi, our Orphanage houses Anichi, so if you follow me, I can give you a lot more food to satisfy your stomach." Kisho turned from them and walked back toward the orphanage, he was tired of talking, he had to help the Rabbit, and feed the hungry girl before she changed her mind again.

[Kung_Fu_Master]

"Whatever," he threw the core of the first apple away and started to eat his second one, "If you think she's any different from the rest of us that's your problem." Jericho turned and headed back to the orphanage.

[Lil_Ninja]

Maxine studied the two boys as they spoke. Well.. They seem harmless enough.. She thought as she watched as the other boy walked away. "I thought you were an Anichi. That was the only reason I stayed in my animal form when I approached you." She told Kisho. When her stomach growled again, she mumbled and turned to the boy. "So.. I'll follow you then." She said to Kisho as she transformed into her human form and came up next to him. She was wearing a gray shirt, a black jacket that appeared to have had its sleeves torn off, black pants, black running shoes and black biker gloves. At first sight, she would appear to be emo or gothic, but she really wasn't. She wore black for stealth at night.
She quickly followed him to the orphanage, eager to sink her teeth into the food that awaited her. "So, uh.. What's your name?"

Unico smiled grimly, his expression could have been that of amusement or the pleasure of getting his way. Taking in a deep, overly exaggerated breathe he softly caressed Siobhan's cheek.

"I wouldn't leave that decision to me... but, if you insist..."

Slipping past her, Unico made a direct line to the door. Stopping just briefly to gather a bundle of clothes, he turned around. Motioning his hand for Siobhan's grasp, he beckoned to her in a mocking, good natured tone.

"-Come, fair princess. The chores await our attention."

Siobhan took another bundle of clothes and nodded, shifting the load to her hip.
"Lead the way, sir."[/font]

Kisho glanced at Maxine, his eye-brows went up, he liked her style not to bad. Kisho nodded, "understandable.." he muttered, "I am Kisho, and yourself?" he glanced at her from underneath his orange and black bangs.

[Lil_Ninja]

Maxine pushed her black side bangs out of her eyes as she looked up at Kisho. "My name is Maxine, but I go by Max." She told him, glancing at the rabbit in his arms now and then. She couldn't help but think about food. She usually has eaten by this time of day. At every sound in the forest, she wanted to dart away to see if it was something to eat, but she knew there would be more food at the orphanage the boy spoke of than in a rabbit or a bird. Ugh.. We've been walking forever and I'm getting hungrier.. We better get to this place soon or that rabbit will have more to fear than two broken legs.. She thought, glancing at the rabbit. When they reached the edge of the forest, she saw a house a little ways away. "Is that our destination?" She gestured to the house.
