Courage the Cowardly Dog and Chowder are really stupid american cartoons I've ever seen IMO.

Early courage was fantastic. As it's gone on it's just gotten... a little over the edge.

I wouldn't say that EVERYTHING from AS is bad. I rather like Aqua Teen Hunger Force (though I can't speak for anything after the fourth season).

Oh, and I agree about Courage. The earlier stuff was quirky and fun to watch, but then it just got dumb. Same thing with Spongebob, really.

And... Somebody added Family Guy....

If you take out Aqua Teen Hunger, Venture Bros, Robot Chicken, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast from the worst adult Swim cartoons, then the rest are bad.

Also I would take out Metalocalypse, since I haven't watch it and I don't have any opinion on that show.

Oh, a few shows to add would be

American Dad.

The Gary Coleman Show.

Rubik the Amazing Cube.

Super Globetrotters

Street Fighter

Super Friends

It was bad, but it does get worse. Scrappy Doo.

Will I be the only one to defend the original Scooby-doo? Hey when you grow in the 90s(I realize that earlier decades had less animation, but that doesn't mean that the 90s had an abundance more.) and have no other cartoons(aside from Rugrats, Doug, and the Simpsons. Which I really couldn't watch the simpsons at such a young age.) to watch, you get a liking to anything to see. So I always watched Scooby-doo. I know they didn't have many episodes but it was still good just the same.

And also Courage was a really great cartoon, alot better than anything new CN is dishing out.

As for what cartoon I think is bad, then I'll say most of what comes of AS. Not all is horrible, but most.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLACE A HOME MORTGAGE LOAN?

Here is the break down.

Scooby Doo, Where Are You? - Dull dull dull.
Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo - No.
The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo - Only 13 episodes, surprisingly.
The New Scooby Doo Movies - Varies by celebrity guest star.
A Pup Named Scooby Doo - Varies by age demographic.
Scooby Doo and the Boo Brothers - Awesome.
Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School - Decent.
Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf - Awesome.
Scooby Doo (Live Action) - What.

The original Scooby doo was made in the year of 1969 so what can you expect. But seriously I always liked it. Maybe Scooby-doo just wasn't your thing, I don't know.

Ooooh oooh oooh dare I nominate SouthPark? Or is it on the DND list? Ack, I can't remember.....

Seriously, I've tried to watch it many times and I always walk out on it within 5 minutes. (^_^);; Some ppl find it intelligent/witty, but I'm not one of them. I won't go into details as to why; pls just accept my humble opinion. I believe the "worst" term isn't limited to just poor storyplot/animation quality.

Beavis and Butthead is also another one I'll rate pretty high up there. I just couldn't stand the characters hehehe

I'm kinda OK with the others mostly because either 1) I haven't watched them or 2) thought they were mild compared to my top nominations. LOL

That's on the list. I thought it would be funny, but it was just unnecessarily bloody and boring. It made me sleepy.

My List: anything new (in the course of...two years?) Cartoon Network is airing at the moment. Including Chowder.

South Park bores me too much to offend me, in all its gratuitous flannel-graphs.

However, the World of Warcraft episode was excellent.

Actually... I could see Captain Planet making a comeback with all the "SAVE TEH EARTH!!1" stuff going on right now. What a scary thought. XD I'm just praying that a movie doesn't get announced.

Anyway, I'm not a big fan of any of the original shows that Cartoon Network has been hocking at us lately. They're just so pointless. Cow and Chicken will always be the worst, in my opinion, but those other ones like Chowder and Camp Lazlo? Gah... they're not even funny. I can handle looking at bad animation if the storyline is actually engaging, but those don't do anything for me.

You're all wrong. The worst cartoon show ever was the "Little Shop" animated series in the early '90s. I couldn't find any pictures from it and maybe that's a mercy. Suffice to say it was poorly drawn, extremely cheesy, and Audry Junior was portrayed as a gangsta rapper, complete with "black guy voice," sunglasses, backwards hat and big-honkin' gold chain/medallion.

Qbert and Pacman top the list of reasons why video games should not be made into cartoons.

But even those treasures are true gems compared with most of the adult swim line-up.
