good for apple. I heard that G. Lucas's ILM uses apple too, ne?. but heh, ive been using Ms since it came out. i dont think ill ever switch. and old phil, its just a silly computer, made of plastic and metal, and the pictures are mae of pixels

Why is that, necessarily? Heck, many "casual users" do pretty well with Linux, for that matter.

I'm a bit more than casual and love Windows just fine. I haven't tried OSX.whatever or Linux yet, but I don't trust extreme mac fans on how great their OS is because the same fans were in celebration of the OS9.x versions, and they sucked.

I can't really rate linux fans, but then again, I'm too used to XP... When Windows comes out with the new version, I may swtich to Linux. By that time I should have enought HD space for a dual boot.
