Please note that all dates are the current ones listed on various websites and may change in time. This list has been constructed from the best knowledge available. Some sites do not post actual release dates and instead use the month. Also, some titles are more mature than others - research anything prior to purchasing.

Oh, thank you! Very helpful, very very helpful. Now I don't have to nag mum into taking me to the mall on April 1st on just to see if the next vol. of Fruits Basket has been released, as well as many others ^^;

Hehe, I'm glad you think it useful!

I plan on doing this as a monthly thing, now. It is so easy to visit the Distributor/Publisher's site to find out the information first-hand, but some people do not have the time. Hence me compiling the information of about ten websites into one!

Besides, it keeps me out of trouble. ;)

Thanks for placing that here for us, Staci. ^_^ *hug*

I have a question, that I've been searching for the answer. Maybe you can help me. Do you know if Hot Gimmick, Vol. 3 came out? Because I see Vol. 4 due out soon, but I've yet to find Vol. 3. Thank you ahead if you can help out. ^_^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Hrm - a very intesting question, I might add. Viz is the one who publishes/distributes the "Hot Gimmick" Manga and I checked their website:

That is the link for all of their Hot Gimmick merchandise. It only has books 1 and 2 listed.

Here is a link from the Right Stuf - where I find most of the hard-to-get release dates:

Apparently, they have Hot Gimmick Volume 3 out for release in 15 to 18 business days (today being March 15th). I find it very strange, however, that Viz itself would not have it on pre-order! On the other hand, it could merely be back-ordered, but I'm guessing it is the former of the case and not the latter.

I hope that sufficiently answered your question, chloe! :sweat:

Manga is becoming INCREDIBLY popular, so there is no doubt more and more titles will be released as people realize, "Hey! Reading and anime drawings are COOL!" :thumb:

Oooh! Prince of Tennis comes out! ^_^ I heard it was really good, and I hope that it comes in a store near me.

On the other hand, I don't even know half the titles in the list. :(

The terrifying moldy bread incident! In elementary school, Yomi's leftover bread started rotting inside her desk! you can't imagine what happened! Not only that, but the mold had a will of its own, it was terrible! Barricading ourselves in the science prep room, we used spirit lamps and engaged in combat! Then I realized it!! If we only had the bottle of mildew remover from the bathroom, we could destroy them!!

Hehe, thanks for the update on Fruits Basket Volume 2!

Keeping track of release dates is tricky business because they change constantly. One minute they're one date, the next they are pushed ahead/back two weeks. :sweat: (Hence my disclaimer on the first post, teehee.)

*nod nod* I just wanted to stay there and read it but the ladies who work there were kind keeping an eye on me ^^; If I hope to work there soon I suppose its best not to upset them. Figured I should say something about it. I didn't notice any other changes, but then again thats pretty much all I paid attention to.

*laughs loudly* Yes, they're sticklers for that at Walden Books. "Buy it or leave!" basically. ^^;;

Barnes & Noble is much better for that... Though I hear Walden gets Manga in more often (and has a better selection). Is that true? It's been ages since I've been to Barnes & Noble - it is quite a drive from where I live and I work in a mall with Walden, so it's easy cheesy to go there.

I can't really say which has the better selections. I've only bought manga from the Waldens at the mall here (Spirit_Wolf could probaly tell you more since she works just a few stores down from it). Okay, so I bougth teh first vol of Trigun at Borders from the mall in Wood Bridge in VA but I can safely say it was pretty much all they had. The manga section at Waldens here has grown a bit since I first started going as of what, 2 months ago? I'll stick to Waldens though, 10% discot and love those buy 4 get the 5th one free deals - not to mention after you spend so much you get a $5 or $10 off. Here I go again - yes, when I find deals I like I go on and on but hey, can't really beat great deals for top quality products ^^

My local Barnes and Noble has a fantastic manga selection. I've been buying the latest volumes of Petshop of Horrors there. Too bad Volume 6 isn't in an April release. Maybe in May... and that's also when Trigun Maxium 1 comes out... le sigh... I really need a job... need money to buy this stuff!

I see volume 4 of Phoenix is in the release... I haven't even gotten volume 3 yet... I have the first two volumes... wonderful. I'm not a fan of Osamu Tezuka's art style, but the storytelling is... wow. I'm hoping that, eventually, all 12 volumes of that story will be realeased in English - it looks like it.
