I heard it is excellent but you have to be open to how it's very focused on the internal struggle of a imperial family, relationships and some philosophies.

I don't really mind; I confess that I'm interested in Jay Chou's acting (the son). XD

Good review, no, superb review, Animus Seed. I saw the movie today. It draws the viewer in, awes, suspends, horrifies, challenges, and then teaches the viewer as the pieces fall together until the final shot. Not for those seeking amusement or cool action, but for those who want to see something of an artistic wonder, read the review below and see the movie.
