I can only comment on movies I saw, and I didn't see many this year:
Best Drama?End of the Spear
Best Action?X-men: Last stand. I, personally, didnt mind they killed off... Oops... Spoiler!
Best Comedy? Cars
Most unfairly rated by critics: Silent Hill. It was the smartest horror movie to come out this year, as far as I know... Even so, it was still more straightforward than the games, and I had no trouble understanding most of it... I don't get what people didn't get... They shut their brains down because it was based on a game, pure and simple... If people watched this with their brains on, there wouldn't be much to not get (except that enigmatic ending)
Favorite animated movie? Cars
Favorite TV show? My name is earl... I've only watched it twice, though... One was a marathon of season 1, so I saw a lot of it I guess...
Favorite DVD of the Year? Um... Didn't see many new DVDs this year... I saw Silent Hill, End of the Spear, and a couple others, none with spectacular DVDs... At least Silent Hill had a making of. I believe there is a special edition, but I wasn't able to get ahold of that... It is supposed to come with the making of specials from French TV (the making of the games, not the movie) but as I haven't actually seen that, I can't confirm it.
Favorite Movie of the Year? As of now, I'll have to say End of the Spear. The third good Chrsitian movie... After decades of bad ones, it's good to finally have 3 good ones in 5 years... If this keeps up, my kids will have a catalogue of Christian movies to watch by the time they're old enough... If I ever have kids, that is.[/QUOTE]
