Christian manga

Postby NeoMikey » Sun Feb 22, 2004 12:44 am

I don't know if this has been mentioned at the site before, but has anybody has seen the "Psychoteers" website (link!!) before? It's actually quite well done Christian manga, and the girl who runs it actually has a lot of projects going on at once. Just post your own thoughts on the website, or any other links to online Christian manga. =)

*waves hand sheepishly* Ah, yes, Psychoteers has been talked about before at this site ^^ (Are you by any chance 'Mikey' who signed my guestbook? If yes, then hey!! *hug*) I really encourage you to go check out Inkhana's (http://www.christianmanga.com) and Mave's (http://www.geocities.com/tanmichi00/) Christian manga. The two of them are here too ^^

Links to Christian manga can also be found at CAA's Link page or the Cognatio webring too ^^

Egads!! You're...you're freakin'...oh my gosh, Psycho Ann!! Yeah, yeah, I'm the same fellow who signed your guestbook before and sent ya a few messages on Yahoo (though since then I've had problems with my screen name... ). I...honestly wasn't expecting to run into you here! Somebody just told me about the site, and I just signed up yesterday. Thanks for the links! I'll check them out now. =)

Hahaha, your reputation precedes you, Ann...;)

Yeah, Mikey, there's actually more Christian manga out there than one would think (and more than there was a couple of years ago) you just have to know where to look...:P

Oh, and like a bum, I forgot to greet you. So...hello!

haha I prefer to keep low profile until I'm ready to go full gear with mangaka-ing. ;)

Hi there, Mikey..nice to have you here! Yes, Psycho Ann has done a lovely job promoting Christian manga and she's the one who is mainly responsible for getting me into this C-manga mess.

Mave! Hey! I just read through your manga yesterday with the links Ann gave me. I honestly liked it! =) I think it would be really great if there were somebody who did leave their job of infamy and making a lot of money for the purpose of following God. You don't hear about a lot of celebrities out there becoming born-again Christians...well, Gary Busey, Jeff Gordon, and Mr. T being some few examples.... Anyways, I like your artwork as well. You have the story well-composed and thought out, and I thought the chibi-fications were funny ("I never knew you thought so deep!! *hug!!* XD ). I look forward to reading this one as it progresses! =)

:red: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I'll do my best! *bows* Yes, if only there was such a celebrity...oh wait, does Mel Gibson count? I don't know whether he intends to throw away all his riches but certainly, dedicating his talents to spread God's Word is a brave and great decision as well. It would be interesting to document his life and those similar to him. ^^

I was wondering how long it would take Ann to get to this thread. Not long, which is good for the sake of irony.

Before any other business: welcome, Neomikey.

I like Psychoteers, but I'm far more partial to Paladin. And then of course there is another small, basically undeclared project Ann is working on in spare time that I will enjoy greatly that I have nothing to do with whatsoever.
