Please pray for me.
Basically I've had this really bad habbit of worrying, feeling anxiety, and discouragement for quiet some time... it comes and goes. It got really bad this weekend and I was wondering if ya'll would pray for me about it. I know it's just the devil putting things in my head to trouble me but I tend to struggle with it a LOT and just need some prayer (perhaps even prayer to help me give ALL my burdens to God and leave them there). someone in my family dies?
I run out of food and water?
there's a nuclear war?
I give all my worries to God and don't have to ask "what if" anymore?

No problem. I have the same problem at tiems, but lately I've put it all behind me. I'll pray for you.

Lifting you up, my sister. I think you're on the right track by the fact that you know it's Satan trying to put these thoughts into your mind. I'd also encourage you to get grounded in the Word if you aren't doing so already, so that when Satan comes at you with this garbage, you'll have something to defend yourself with. That's not to say that you'll never have these feelings again, but you can rest in knowing that the promises of God are true and anything that contradicts that is from the devil.

Thanks for all the prayers and I hate to bother ya'll again but please keep praying. I'm not trying to worry anyone else but...

I've had thoughts about suicide and worrying that I'll get to the point where I don't care anymore. This is frightening me horribly, I'm getting to the point where I don't trust myself that I can trust God. I know that's a lie but I'm bad to get down on myself like that and then I start feeling guilty for no reason. I love God but I've been haveing to not read the bible as much because sometimes I start worrying after doing that. I guess I also need help taking one day at a time, when I look ahead and feel like I'm going to keep being depressed that makes it worse... I'm sorry if this is to long but I need to talk and I REALLY need prayer. Thanks ya'll.

I am a Christian who has attempted suicide. I DON"T recommend it. I would venture to recommend you finding someone to talk to if its come to the point were you can no longer puzzle out your own thoughts. Get help of some kind; if the situation is bad enough, find a Christian counseling service (I had to). If you are not careful and unwilling to be helped, this could spiral out of control and do serious damge to your walk and life. I'll pray for you, but I implore you to be certain this is a passing phase, and if not, to seek help. Even if you think this will pass, living eaten up by anxiety is not something Christ wants for us, and you may need professional insight to deal with that as well.

I'm doing SO much better, thank you for all your prayers. I heard a preacher earlier that was teaching about haveing the right mind set and that helps a lot.
