... that Ken Andrews has made such an impact on music. Yes, all of his music is decidedly underground. But I'm glad to see that there are still people out there who recognize his amazing talent.
On Rockstar: Supernova, Phil Ritchie actually covered a FAILURE song, and he said, "I'm doing a crazy song that nobody's ever heard of, it's called, um, 'Smoking Umbrellas' by a band called FAILURE." Now, I never watched Rockstar, but I personally think that this is amazing (the fact that it got covered, not necessarily the cover itself. I thought the cover sucked).

Paramore, a band that I wasn't too particularly fond of (until now) covered 'Stuck On You' for their "The Summer Tic" EP.
And even though it's not quite as recent, A Perfect Circle included a cover on 'Thirteenth Step' of the FAILURE song 'The Nurse Who Loved Me'.
Now, I'd be willing to bet I can count the number of people on this board who actually know who I'm talking about on one hand, but if any of you want to check out some failure, go here:

The first link is to the music video for the song 'Stuck On You' by FAILURE, and the second is the music video for 'Last Defense' by Year of the Rabbit.
I'm going to go on record by saying that the Year of the Rabbit album carries a parental advisory sticker, while the FAILURE stuff is pretty tame, if not just strange (listen to the lyrics for 'Smoking Umbrellas' if you watch it).
Anyway. I won't be surprised if this thread gets no replies. Next to no one knows the name Ken Andrews, let alone his music. But, whatever. I just felt the need to put the word out about Ken's music.
