My Livejournal

Postby Bobtheduck » Sun Feb 15, 2004 4:47 pm

PG-13 link

I finally got one. It's not very pretty or well organized yet, but I finally have one!

This is where to go to get the real "(name withehld for reasons of national security)" story!

I just started it, so don't expect anything big yet... This is my introductory post, which I plan on incorporating partially into my bio.

http://www.livejournal.com/users/bobtheduck2004/

Things to understand:

When I don't have the limitations I have in webforums such as this, I am frank. So, let's make this a PG-13 link. I will be frank, and this will be a rather raw outpouring of my feelings and of the events in my life.

I will speak my mind and state my opinions, even in refference to things that may have been spoken here. Please don't take that as an attack on you if I have journalled something in refference to a point of disagreement. You can comment on it as long as you're civil... I'm the only one who has the right to be uncivalized in my Journal *evil grin* I will not name names or say anything to attack anyone here, but arguments on things may make their way into the journal much the same way as they may spill over to that theology forum site.

Anyone who has a LJ account can make comments on anything I say, and I'll pay attention to that just like I do these boards... I didn't think I'd ever abbandon my Webpage to start using a blog, but it's just more convenient this way. Well... That' about that. Hope to hear your comments.

Sounds good!

I forgot to mention it was Straylight's LJ that finally "pushed me over the edge" to get my own.

Oh, I didn't realize how long it took for posts to show up, so I posted 2 "stupid" postes thinking the first one dind't show... Oh well...

Cross your fingers to see if I can keep this up for a long time... I think this is very much like posting to a message board but we'll see in a little while.

Livejournal doesn't do invite codes anymore...you can just go sign up for one and it's yours.

Nope, no codes or referrals needed. At least, not anymore.

And about the posts not showing up thing, they're doing maintenance on the Green Cluster (which I'd bet you're in) so some journals aren't showing up immediately.

I totally forgot about the refferel system... When they had that, you could invite people, and when they signed up, you got free months on the more professional version...
