I finally did it! I now play MGS3: Subsistence Online. If anyone else does please post your usernames here I'd like to have a game with fellow Christians.

I got a new PS2, so now I just need to borrow subsistance and get a ethernet cable... Or can I connect my DSL modem to the PS2 using USB?

I'm a bit wary about playing a game like MGS online, though... Hmm...

Well, when I get it, my name will be one of these:

bobtheduck
bobtheduck2006
Onlybobtheduck

Depending on what's taken...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

Unfortantely I can't just add a name to my friends list...least I'm pretty sure I can't.

Before you go online...read the instruction manual (the full one that you have to download from the net). They're are quite a bit of things you should know before playing (I learned this the very hard way).

Also if you haven't not played subsistence make sure to play some single player to get used to the camera, and make sure to join noob room or you will get eaten alive by a cow.

Be sure to drop a PM when you do.

Do you have to have sony's online service to use this? I don't even have an ethernet cable right now, so I can't exactly test... I can't afford to pay for an online service like playonline or x-box live, so... That limits what I can do...

I also recommend you pick up the game Champions of Norrath 2 : call to arms because its and awesome online action RPG it can be played solo also. Killzone is also pretty good not sure how many people still play it but its pretty fun even if the games go forever

I'm trying to find a way to get my wireless network running so I can play my PS2 online in my room.

...my mom won't let me take it in the main room. Darn it.

Once I do, though, I'm definitely trying out MGS online and I'll get back into Killzone and Syphon Filter. I finally got a mic, too. I'm so excited!

I finally got to play it using my cousin's name (so I won't say what it is). It had been a while since i'd played MGS, so I got my but kicked for the most part, but it was still really fun.
