Another Hentai problem

If I may be so bold, Could I ask for prayer.

I have been having this problem for...years now, and it seems no matter what I do I always come back to it. And the only real answer I've been able to come up with is to make myself blind, but I really like seeing.

I'm going to try (again) to stay awa fom the computer. Thanks to anyone who prays.

Try not to think that it's " too hard...because...and because...." because that's just the devil trying to program you. Don't let society program you into thinking that " it's normal and you can't do anything about it". Because that CERTAINLY is NOT true.
Take Jesu for example, He never sinned, He never lusted, and He kept it up all His life ( 33 years! ) this shows and proves to us that with God, the flesh can be conquered, easily, because...if you ask for my solution and oppinion....it's all in the mind, and the mind is more powerful then the body, and the spirit *should* be more powerful than the mind. So, if you get it out of your mind, pray, and work on CONTROLING yourself and CONTROLING the things you think, it should be no problem. It starts by willpower, and if you love God enough ( not blackmailing, just encouraging ), I'm sure you'll be stubborn enough to take control of the lustful desires for two or three weeks, and block them from your mind, you're temptations should, slowly but surely...GO AWAY. It is written: resist the devil and he will flee from you. ".
I used to be into this stuff, badly. I was addicted. And I got rid of it by trying to block my lustful thoughts, and whenever I got a desire, a flashing scene, etc... "I said to myself: " NO! this is not right! ( can add: GREATER IS HE THAT LIVES IN ME THAN HE THAT LIVES IN THE WORLD ), GET OFF me DEVIL, FLESH, SHUT UP AND SILENCE!!! ( or something like that )
Besides, imagine you having a crush on a person, would you like him/her to be into this stuff? If no, well guess, if a person has a crush on you, how he/she'd feel. It's not very comfortable.


" If there is a will there is a way". Just pray about it. These are just my suggestions, I hope they were of any help to you. ^^
But may God lead you to whichever cure He that's right for you. And remember: it's all just in the mind and therefore only half, if at all, as tough as people make it out to be or claim.

Scripture suggestion: Check out Galatians 5:19-22, it may shock you. It did me. O.O;

BTW: Did you already repent and ask for God to purify your soul and mind? Did you devote your life as much to him as you should? Sometimes people ( including me sometimes ) can forget these things...

Well..... truth be told, I've done the same things. =( I will be praying.

1. Find something else to do so you are not spending any idle time in front of the PC.

2. Delete all links, history, etc. to these sites. This at least makes it harder...

3. Spend a lot of time on CAA praying for every single prayer request on here (that is, the current ones). This can take a lot of time, trust me.

4. Find someone on this site to whom you will be accountable. That is, someone you will tell when you mess up. The thought of disappointing that person will strengthen your resolve.

5. Keep asking for prayer, that's what we are here for.

Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will."

It isn't good enough just to get trash out of your mind, because your mind CAN'T stay empty. The trash keeps seeping back in. You have to replace the filth with holy and pure thoughts..."the renewing of your mind".

You can pray, study your Bible, make a list of what you're going to do to serve others, or pick up some other decent book to read, the list of GOOD things to think about is really endless. Try making a list for yourself.

Aside from renewing your mind, finding a physical outlet that is good and productive will help you. For example, everytime you think a lustful thought and are tempted to act on it by looking at hentai (or by doing anything else that increases lust), drop down and do 10 pushups. If the thought's still there, do 10 more. After a while, you'll be so exhausted, you won't WANT to think like that anymore. That's just one example, you could also go mow the lawn, help your mom with some chore, etc.

Also, don't be alone. If you're with other people, especially godly people, you won't be tempted so much. For example, chances are if you go do something with your mom or dad, you won't be able to think dirty thoughts while hanging around them! Right?!

i know... im a girl... but i've struggled with the same thing... ... im not too proud of it either... my parents have blocks on alot of stuff now... i know it may be hard... but ask your parents to set up parental controls...
that way... you cant access it at all.
its hard... after i used to look at that stuff i felt so dirty and sinful... i told myself i wouldnt look at it again... but then i'd just do it again. V_V it was a sick habit
but with god giving me the strength to confront my parents...and me not being able to access it... the habit of looking it up... starved and died... thats what you need to do... block it completly!

satan is out there... and hes going to tempt you... but you can resist!

Dude I've also been through the same...Honestly I've been attacked by it hard in these last two or three months. So I definately keep you in prayer. I would apprieciate if I you could also pray for me. Maybe would could PM each other and try and keep ourselves accountable to a certian extent.

that's a very good idea. anyways, i hope you will be able to break this habbit. here's my suggestion, when you are tempted with a lustful thought, simply pray in your mind to God. quote scripture and rebuke satan for trying to tempt you. i wish you luck.
