CD-R help

Postby HwaRang777 » Thu Feb 12, 2004 1:40 pm

Hi,

I'm not sure wheather this is because of my computer or the CD-Rs but when I asked a friend to download a 3 programs and music videos for me, he did what I wanted him to do and whatever, but only one out of the four discs work. I don't know why but all the info I can give you is that they don't contain viruses, my computer dosen't have any, I only have a DVD player (but it can play music and data CDs), It slows my computer down, and even when I wait a little a window will pop up saying "Please insert audio disc" or something like that. I'm not sure if it had "audio" in it. because the stuff he got for me are really cool and not immorale

Gonna need some clarification here:

-- So only 1 out of those 4 CDs actually works. Have you tried them out on another computer?

-- Also, when you put them in your DVD drive, and then go to "my computer" (or start -> "my computer"), and then right click your DVD drive (it should be D: or maybe E:) and choose "explore" do you see contents in a window, or does it say "please insert a disc into the drive"?
