I've never seen them live before :( But they come to CA pretty often from the looks of it so hopefully if I can't see them this time, they'll be back by in like 6 months or so.

Oh yea... I forgot I got my username and siggy from one their songs..

Yea i relized that. its from there Hey you i love your soul cd. anyways here's the lyircs to the first single Rebirthing

Lyrics for "Rebirthing"
I lie here paralytic
Inside this soul
Screaming to you till
My throat is numb

I wanna break, out I need a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst, is the waiting
In this room I'm suffocating

Feel your presence
Filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

(Chorus)
Rebirthing now
I wanna live for love
Wanna live for you and me
(Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow)
Rebirthing now
I wanna live my life
wanna give you everything
(Breathe for the first time now
I come alive somehow)

Right now
Right now

I lie here lifeless
In this cocoon
Shedding my skin cause
I'm ready to

I wanna break out, I found a way out
I don't believe that it's gotta be this way
The worst, is the waiting
In this room I'm suffocating

Feel your presence
Filling up my lungs with oxygen
I take you in
I've died

(Chorus)

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when I'm gonna breathe you in
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'm gonna feel alive

Tell me when I'm gonna live again
Tell me when this fear will end
Tell me when I'm gonna feel inside
Tell me when I'm gonna feel alive

(Chorus)

Right Now (I come alive somehow)
Right Now (I come alive somehow)

EDIT: wow that was more than i figured XD

I got the Rebirthing single off of iTunes...I <3 it! I like that they're mixing the style of the last album with something that's similar to Alien Youth.

Not to mention--Korey's doing vocals again!! (On one of the videos on their official site, John actually admits that Korey doesn't feel like her voice is that good, which...amazes me. o.o; )

So has anyone pre-ordered the album? I hear if you pre-order it from like skillet.com and a couple other places, you get a free streaming audio of the entire album in your email. But you can only listen to it once or something like that.

Anyway, I was just curious everyones thoughts if they've heard the whole thing yet (I havent ordered it yet)

PANHEADS UNITE!! XDXDXD

I cant wait for october 3rd!

EDIT-

WOW I just finished listening ot the lastnight!

its so awesome to! korey sings so awesome!

and I love the violin they are adding onto there songs! they started trying it out on there last cd but it sounds so much more awesome on these songs! now that they are adding syntesizer to compliment it!

YEEESSS. It's great. Skillet's style keeps changing (evolving). A couple of the solos are really metal-ish sounding. But ya, awesome

I got it when it came out. I like it a lot, it's really good. It's not quite as heavy as I had been expecting, but it's still really good. My favorite track is probably Better Than Drugs.

I am beyond disapointed so far. I am on track 6, Older I get. And I dunno. It just feels like....eh. It feels like a hundred other bands I could find on any alternative station. I hope it gets better towards the end of the album. I miss Collide already. (which is saying somthing since I have loved the band more with each album)

I agree with you a little, Ark. I am slightly dissapointed with the CD, but I do enjoy the violins, and I have always loved his vocals.

I want another Invincible :(

Ok. Just finished it. Before I write anything, if you like the new album...great, I am glad you like it.

I became a Skillet fan, when I first turned to the Lord...got a copy of Hey You I Love Your Soul. Got all there albums after that...thought they got better with each album. The heavy parts of Alien Youth amazed me. Collide, was perfect. Comatose is a huge step backwards. Gone are most the hard edges that Collide had found. Replaced with cliche lines about drugs, depression, etc. Stuff I can hear 50 songs about on any top 40 alternative station. They have nothing unique about them now...and are happily medicore. I have never been sadder hearing one of their albums. I hope it might grow on me...but I really doubt it. I miss Collide already.

I like it. I thank more bands should experiment with their sound. It gives their fans a choice in styles of music. It reminds me of RSTJ different albums.
