Since the Stargate thread is about Sg1 I tought I'd start a thread about the spin off seris. What do people think of it.

Personally I like it, and I think this season is the best so far

It's going to be interesting if they ever run into the Wraith again from yesterday's
episode. It seems that there's a lot more to the Wraith than what appears.

Ooh, Atlantis!! Actually, I've reached the point where Atlantis is my preferred show, over SG1. It was kind of slow building up, but once it fleshed out it's characters well and introduced some really cool plotlines, it's EXCELLENT!

Last nights episode was cool...I wonder when they meet again (Because you've got to figure they will) if all bets will truly be off?

I think they are starting to humanize the Wraith so that they turn out to be more three dimensional and so the viewer won't have as easy a time wanting the Atlantis crew to destroy them as before.Personally I think it's a good idea since the problem with the Ori on SG1 has been they're basically 2 dimensional stick figures.

Did anyone else see yesterday's episode and if so what did you think of Rodney actually being named Meredith?

It was good the two Mackays were so different or else Sheperd would probably have done a back flip off the highest tower that Atlantis had.

I was watching the preview for this week's episode and it got me wondering if the reason why Sam takes over as head of Atlantis is because Weir goes over to the Dark Side.

Though Charles was rich.
Any ways now that they have a new location for the city and for the time being seem to have both the Repicators and Wraith off their hands I wonder what new villian will show up.
