im trying to start this thing called exit 26 at my school where people join togethor to touch the lives of your campus and i need prayer that god can guide me o be a leader for that and help me do the right things

hola todos! im back and now im starting a small chamber ensemble at my church so I would ask for prayer for that as well as for the souls of three men I just recently witnessed to at work. They seemed really affected by the gospel! Oh, and of course Im praying for the victims of Katarina and of all natural disasters around the world....

EDIT::::animegirl1 I'll definitely add you to my prayer list for that, obviously im feeling the organizational stress my self.....idn't wwwwonderfullll????

Ah, I'd just like to ask for prayer for my spiritual life. I want to grow stronger in faith, and closer to God, but I don't feel close to Him right now, and what with this talk about the end times, it's scary to feel far from God. Thanks.

What do you mean? "You're not a Christian for a reason"? Someone can be Christian when they ask for repentence and accept Christ into their hearts. Or am I misunderstanding?

Maybe he ment for no reason? 'Draw close to God and He will draw close to you' James 4:8. Keep calling on and praising God and he will be there. Fellowship with other christians can help, too.

There are times I pray for kind of selfish things, like not getting caught in a lie or something along those lines. I agree with you. It is scary.

"why do I do the things I don't want to do and fail to do the things I want to do?" look, every christian is in the same position, thankfully that means we have the gifts of the holy spirit and His grace to carry us through. What is grace? The life of God, in you. You don't apply Chrisitian principles to your life alone, you work with God to form your life into His, and His into yours. It is a mutual excercize of asking Him to enter your life and asking Him if you can enter His.
