Prayer for family and friends.

One of my relatives has a drinking problem and doesn't seem to pay a whole lot of attention when anyone talks to him about God, please pray for him. I also have quite a few friends that need prayer for various reasons. Thanks ahead of time.

I'll pray for your family member and your friends. It reminded me of this scripture:

James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Prayers for loved ones are never a waste of time, no matter how long it takes them to be answered.

"LORD, I come in the name of Jesus and I pray, I just pray that you may help this person with his drinking issues, and that you will give him eyes to see and ears to hear, so he may listen to whatever the people may be preaching in your will. LORD, I pray that You'll give him an open heart, and just...help him to receive! In Jesus' name! Receive!
