2 Questions

I got a BuffBreaker... is that a rare item?

Is Darkon 3 the new land that they are going to add?

Buffbreakers are sorta rare... though not really rare. Think of them like pd drops. I honestly have no idea what they're worth, though.

And no, Darkon 3 is not the new land. You could go to Darkon 3 right now if you wanted to, though I wouldn't suggest it since I think the lowest level monster in Darkon 3 is level 70+. Once you hit level 60, though, you'll have to go to Darkon 3, since that's where almost all of the 2nd job change quest takes place.

Can anyone tell me where the Portrait of Riador (or something) is. I found the fire and caravan described in the clues but I see nothing. Do I have to kill a Troupe Bang or something?

Oh, and whilst I am here. Does CAA have guild, what is it called, what are you entry requirments etc.

Linksquest is making a guild. Talk to him. I don't think I'll join, though (no offense, LQ.).

Um, to be honest, I have no idea what a Portrait of Riador is. They've input a lot of new quests since the version 6 patch, and a lot of those quests are accessable only during low levels. Your best bet is to try to find someone who has done the quest and ask them, or maybe go to the flyff.gpotato forums and run a search for 'Portriat of Riador'.

Hmmn... they do seem valuable. someone was asking for them yesterday for 2k each and then when i refused he wnt up to 5k... I as just wondering if you guys knew how much they usually went for.

OH OK. I think What confused me was that I tried to go ABOVE Darkon 3 and there was a barrier... you have to go underground, right?

None taken. LinksQuest is now lvl 39 and all I have left to complete the guild quest (items that is) is to get the 8 bobands and the 5 Droil... I also need to level up one more time get 300k and find 6 people to be the first members of the guild! hehe

i wouldn't really call it THE official CAA guild but any member of CAA is welcome to join. The only real requirment I would have (at least at this time) is that you be level 20 or above.

SOooo ARE They going to make another landmass? Have they announced that or is that only a rumor?

EDIT: Sry I had one more Question. For A Merc... are there any guids out there that suggest wht you should upgrade by STR and DEX lvls, etc?

Heh, sorry I wasn't so informative, Otaku ^^

Um, as far as guides go, there are a couple of places you could go. There are several guides on the Flyff forums at flyff.gpotato.com and you could try the build guide on gamefaqs.com, too.

Its some value between your level and thiers but I thought it was less than 30 (although past experience has taught us to ignore me about flyff...).

I think it's either Korea or Japan that had it first... maybe China, but I doubt it. I CAN tell you we were the last ones to get it, though I can't prove it (it just seems probable). The other games get updates first, which we get much later. The version six patch is actually really old, but we just got it >.>

And yes, when you see something like "<lv ??>" it means that they're 10 levels or more above you.

Well, there's a long story to it. I'll start here...

The two biggest guilds on Aibatt server, Redrum and Envy. Many of the players in these guilds DO NOT play just to level. These people mob Captain Glaphans (the highest leveled normal monsters in the game) for like, .01 experience per mob (mob = 8-12 monsters). Why do they play? To kill Clockworks.

Now then, the way to fight CW is this: You do a quest for an item called 'Wormolden.' Then, you go to s1 Darkon town, and go to the CW chamber and talk to an NPC named Eshylop. She teleports you and the other members of your guild to the CW arena, and the fight ensues.

The CW quest had been bugged since before I even started playing Flyff. So the way CW fights were handled was, that the guild leader would do the Wormolden quest, and then trade the Wormolden to a GM, who would teleport the guild to the CW arena, and then spawn a CW for them to fight. This has ESPECIALLY been done for Envy, the guild that has fought CW more than anyone else. Envy has also fought 'lesser' versions of CW, as well as altered versions. By 'lesser' I mean CW's that have been augmented by GM's to be especially weak, so that the former leader of Envy, xLadyVietx, could OHKO (one-hit Knockout, for future reference) CW, as well as CW's that have had their drop rates augmented to where EVERY drop available from CW was guaranteed to drop (a revenue of billions, maybe even trillions, of penya).

The way the CW quest is SUPPOSED to work, is that you do the Wormolden quest and then fight CW. This quest is completely handled by the game itself, including the CW spawn. The quest is also only available once per guild.

This was a major issue to many guilds, considering that Envy and Redrum have gotten MORE than their fair share of CW fights. The GM's came to an agreement that CW rules would be changed to once per week per guild, and that was supposed to be implemented during the last server maintenance (which was yesterday).

Whoa. Thanks for all that info!

Why in some of the screenshots do I see CW and other huge monsters attacking the Towns? Is that the Korean Version?

EDIT: Sry i was reading some past posts and I wanted to ask a question about this post:

everdred12a wrote:530k penya is actually kind of low for a level 25. You should have a couple mil by now, at least. At level 30, I had 10 mil >.> At level 75, I have appx. 25mil.

Naw, that's an invasion. They do those every once in awhile. They jsut spawn a crapload of giants and such in town and let it wreak havoc on the afk vendors >=)

Um, you just sell stuff. Get lots of equip drops, and rares, and sell them.

I FINALLY GOT IN!!!! I'm back working on my Mushie character now, since I dont' feel like making a new chara on aibatt. Mirei is now level 38, and I made like 100k today, got 5 pd4's, an Intelring+2, and a Fury Sheild. (here's an example of money making, LQ) Value: 5 pd4, about 7-800k. Intelring+2, about 2.5-3mil. Fury Sheild, about 3mil.

So, you see, I made about 7mil's worth of stuff today, 'cept I'm using all of it. >.> But when I get rid of it, I'll have teh cashzorz.

Also when you are in a guild, you can be in guild wars. But I think being in a guild is a way to have a sense of community like you are part of a group... like in LOTR: You are in a troup of people that should help one another and you go on battles together, etc.

Yeah, usually a guild is a tight-woven group. They give each other stuff, help out, you know. GW and capes and whatnot are just bonuses.

not much. The peision necklaces might be worth like 30k. The gore necklace maybe 60k. The gore used to be worth like a couple million, but now that you can get it in a quest, it's worth nothing now.
