Hey I like this band. I just heard about them about two months ago. Now I see that they have gotten more popular. They are pretty great.

Okay? Has the cheers of the Sox FINALLY winning the Series deafed your ears?

My brother listens to them, they're pretty cool! ^^

It's not Dragonforce, it's

*high pitched metal yell*
Dragonfooooooorce.

I'm going to pick up Inhuman Rampage sometime this week. Through the Fire and the Flames is a great song.

They're very good at soloing and doing vocals (great vocal melodies), but everything else is kinda average, particularly the drumming (overuse of double bass, not much variety overall; pretty typical for power metal drumming) and weak song structures (they rely on soloing far too much, and don't pay nearly as much attention to the rest of the music; also, you can interchange pretty much any of their songs with one another and it would be difficult to realize that you're listening to a different song since they are all so very similar). They would probably be fun to see live, but I don't plan on buying any of their cds.

Thats the main problem I have with them as well. I do like Through the Fire and the Flames alot but that was the first I heard of theirs. I tried their other stuff and it all sounded the same. So I just downloaded the free "Fire and the Flames" mp3 from their website which officially begins and completes my Dragonforce collection ;)

I dunno. I just bought Inhuman Rampage and it's pretty enjoyable. I'm about halfway through it, but only one chorus really sounded the same as another.

I dig it, though. I probably won't buy anything else, but Inhuman Rampage is good.

Irrelevently, I was born without any hearing in my right ear.

It's all in a matter of opinion. I don't particularly like their vocals as much as other bands.

they're pretty good
amazing musicians obviously
good songwriters..maybe
for me for powermetal it's all about divinefire
they focus more on the structure of their song imo and dont do any real over flamboyant soloing but still tear it up
they also add some heavier stuff into the music which is cool for a death/doom/black/folk fan such as myself and their lyrics are awesome stuff i can definitely get into
