Have you ever been interested in communicating with someone, even though they have "trouble" written all over them?

What do you mean? Is it dangerous because you're afraid that you'll be tainted or something? Or do you want to communicate with them for the chance to evangelize? Well, instead of randomly guessing, I guess I could just ask if you could please narrow down the circumstances a little so I can answer more effectively...:)

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. What I mean is, if you communicate with them, you will become caught in their downward spiral. I'm talking about manipulators.

Aaaah, I see now what you mean. No, I can't honestly say I've been caught in a situation like that before...is there something you need prayer for or just an inquiry? :)

Hmmm... If I know someone is a manipulator, I tend to run the other way. I don't like it when people play those kinds of games with me.

I can see, though, how some "trouble" people could be tempting to befriend. But remember that only a fool goes looking for trouble. ;)

Why not. Just watch yourself extra carefully, and pray without ceasing.

If you are able to tell that they are a manipulator with such ease, then they must not be very good at manipulatiing.

I have tried to communicate with people like this before, and it was a mistake.
