all I've got to say is

yes, get CS, now! XD

and to anyone who says CS doesn't require skill or that the game is unbalanced, I say that they've never stood alone against 4 competent scouters in long hall at cs_office and taken 'em all out with just a deagle.

The game isn't perfect, but its one of very few online multiplayer games that I still play after 5 years and still is great fun.

Why are you so set on him playing Blue Shift? It was interesting sure, but it was quite short and wasn't very long. I was playing OF, but I kinda stopped, played through Blue Shift, and then went and did something else so I haven't beaten it yet.

Aaanyway. I went and played CS online again and had quite a lot of fun except on this one server. Let's just suffice to say that it's a lot easier to ignore foul typed language, especially since I don't read the text anyway, than it is to ignore foul language that is spoken. It's pretty easy to see which people are mature and which people aren't, especially when you give them a microphone.

But still, all in all it was still fun.

sry, but that's gotta put that in my sig :D

Anyhow, now I gotta get HLEpisode 1... dang clif-hangers...

BUT! I did start playing CS today... is it bad that I can only get kills with shotguns? ;-; my K/D ratio with anything else is .3, but when I started using shotguns it shot up to 3.5.

And I now hate AWPs.

Aha! Mic Spammers. How fun

Anyway. I will answer many points, Slater and Mastersquirrel

1. Blue Shift is awesome. You play AS Barney Calhoun! Even thought it is short, it's a very interesting game. Opposing Force was probably the most fun. Widest arsenal of weapons, and you play as one of the marines.

2. Mic spammers are annoying XD You can go into options and mute them though. Or go to the player list and mute the specific person.

3. Killing isn't easy in Counter-Strike. It takes lots of practice. Are you holding down your fire button in firefights? That is what you must avoid. Learn to burst, shooting little by little. Or do a click-click-click-click motion. Istead of going Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllld. Only hold your fire button when in CLOSE combat situations.

4. Learn to use Q. Q puts your previous weapon in your hand. So you can quickly switch to a pistol or grenade, or whatever you need.

Maybe we can play later, and we can have a small private game and have like you 2 vs me XD A little training session or something.

hehe, nope. I'm never a holder. But still, I seem to miss often enough... at least with the burst-fire pistol option.

As for cheating, I got shot though a wall with a sniper rifle. Is that normal?

Edit: Lol, I had a fun little time tonight...

I hear there's a spray that looks exactly like a ladder... anyone know where I could find that?

Yes, bullets can go through walls. Only some though. Especially awps

And good luck fooling people with fake sprays =p most know the map too well to be fooled

 Be my guest.

I think I'm probably just gonna mute the microphone talk altogether. I mean, I can see how it could be helpful, but people don't usually use it effectively.

As for the training session, I'd be fine with that. Though I'm quite certain that I would die... repeatedly... and in quick succession. ;)

Ooh the old jump trick. You can do that in HL2 as well.

Gary's Mod Online is a total blast, have you tried it?
