I just got this game, and as soon as I get the bonus Trilogy Soundtrack ripped to my iPod, I'm *TOTALLY* going to go play this game. Anyone else get it / going to get it?

I'm already about halfway through the game (I think), and I haven't found the nudity thing yet, but a friend of mine went on gamefaqs and they said it was a statue, but I don't know. The game is pretty awesome, though, and I think the Dark Prince is so freakin' cool that he should be illegal or something.

With the exception of the first, I do not like these games at all. It`s not for the bad content, it is the gameplay. Nowhere near as fun as the original.

On a different note, I do not want to start a debate of any kind, but "Prince of Persia" is a name gven to Satan.

I'll agree that Warrior Within wasn't near as good as Sands of Time, but Two Thrones is much better than Warrior Within. Two Thrones kind of melds the battle systems of the first two; the beginning of the game gives you a main weapon (the Dagger of Time) and lets you pick up secondary weapons just like in Warrior Within. However, they eventually give you a sort of 'permanent' secondary weapon. I haven't been able to throw it away, but I wouldn't want to anyway because it's a great weapon. But anyway, what was it about the gameplay that made Warrior Within so different from Sands of Time, other than the dual-weapon system?

It just didn`t give you the same feeling of gameplay. Plus, alot of kids liked the first and were ticked off because they couldn`t play the second. All of the games should have the same apropriate level.

I liked it on computer, esp. the second one.

I agree that it was a stupid idea on Ubisoft's part to make Warrior Within an 'M' rated game, and it was especially asinine to put Godsmack music in it. But, all in all, it was still an okay game, IMO.

I've just found out about the game and am probably getting it for christmas. But it'll be a while before i can play since i have yet to beat WW.

But anyway, what was it about the gameplay that made Warrior Within so different from Sands of Time, other than the dual-weapon system?

In short, in SOT the battle system was terrible while the rest of the game was excelent so for WW they decided to make a better battle system but they just kept throwing in monsters so you could use it which gets annoying. From what i've read TTT will have a mix of the two but i think the chain arm thing that prince get's is annoying. From the trailer it looks way to easy to kill the monsters with it. and from a review the battle system for the dark prince isn't nearly as great as it could be.

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?

GRAVEDIG!!

Sorry, but I've been playing this game recently and couldn't get over how great it really is. I mean, I just picked up at Blockbuster as a deversion, was surprised by how fun it is, so I went ahead and bought it (partially since I didn't have the time to finish).

The M rating is actually kind of surprising. There's blood, yes, but the only "gore" is when you attack sand monsters, so it's not really that violent (no more than the first two). There is the first boss with the ripped-off bloody mouth, though. Guess that might count for something.

And I haven't seen any nudity yet. Some stuff that should have gone down for "suggestive themes" (namely the Empresses clothing), but all in all it's not too bad (there also hasn't been any inappropriate language, which was good).

I really like the Dark Prince. The comments he makes (in the Prince's mind) are sometimes pretty funny (more than the rather cheesy dialouge in the cutscenes Xp ) and the parts where you get to play him are actually pretty well done. And no, the chain doesn't automatically make it easier (especially seeing as most of his scenes pit you against ALOT of enemies o.o ).

I just beat the second boss (crazy sand lady) and it's been pretty darn good so far.

Something about this amused me:

"If I had sand for every time someone said that to me... *absorbs sand* ...oh wait, I do."

YES YES YES! I LOVED THAT PART! That was one of the funniest parts in any of the games.

As far as the nudity rating goes - There's supposed to be a statue with exposed breasts somewhere in the game. I never found it through 3 times through the game, so I have no idea what it's about. Go figure.

Yeah, go figure. I'm just gonna guess it was the Empress or something (which should be "Suggestive Themes" not nudity :/ ). Maybe they just made-up the thing about the statue for "replay value?" XD

TT is a lot better than WW is. I don't think it's quite as good as Sands, though.

Yay, I beat it. =D
The fighting the Dark Prince bit at the end was expected, though I kinda I could have actually fought him. Still, twas a pretty neat scene (that and the final part of the Vizier battle).
And now I have the "Telephone of Sorrow." XD

Eh, the bonus weapons aren't all that great. You get the Telephone for beating the game, and if you pre-ordered and got the Trilogy Sountrack, it had a code for another weapon (a swordfish, in that case). The weapons were obviously better than the things you just find lying around, but they are breakable, and once they break/you drop them/you throw them they're gone for good.

Yeah, I know. NP had codes for all of 'em (including a toy hammer and chainsaw) and it mentioned you can't use 'em again. :/

Ah, you got the Gamecube version. I own WW and SOT on GC, but my WW was bad messed up, so I decided to get TT on PS2.

Yes, I have the GC one. I've played SOT but never finished (I was playing my cousin's version, and some of the puzzles annoyed me; I'm too lazy >_>; ). I haven't played WW (but would it even be worth it?).

If you can get WW used or for a cheap price, I think it's an okay game. As far as sexuality goes, though....
If you get all the life increases and kill the Dahaka, the Prince has sex at the end of the game >.> It's not shown, but VERY VERY VERY implied.
