I saw the title of this thread, and was considering not even bothering to enter it. Not even a code issue (nothing but Windows here), just general pschology. I had figured that this thread would be worth very little... and thirteen pages later I don't think my view has changed.

But it was still a decent idea.

You all are too kind. Thanks for the kind gesture. Just want to continue to represent Christ in all I do. Know that you are in my prayers.

What's funny is that some people still don't realize it's a joke.

This is too funny. Just as a sidenote...you notice that people with many posts tend to be fooled, while people with few (like myself) know better. That's pretty good when you can fool the veterans of this board but not the newbs.

It makes perfect sense coz we had a thread similar to this before. "What's your favourite CAA members?" Those who have replied to that, probably thought that this was a kickoff thread. Also, those who has posted more or have been around longer, know Straylight better and thought that it could actually be "possible" that he wrote something like this for them since they've interacted more with him.

For newbies like you, it just won't make sense at all. "Erm...I just joined..why is this dud saying this?" You'll smell something fishy a lot easier then. ^^

Just my two cents..

Ahem... counter-example.

Personally, I find this thread more sad than funny, especially when people honestly respond. My other considered response was to act as if I was really touched, and talk about how I was considering committing suicide, but this thread made me not do it. It would have been interesting.

That would have been very sarcastic, ironic humor.
Anyway, I think this thread was more annoying than damaging. Some people who replied went on to name people they genuinely like.
"Consider the lilies of the field. They neither sew nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. If God so clothes the grass, which is in the field one day and cast into the oven the next, how much more will he clothe you, o ye of little faith?

I agree...this gets more pathetic with each post, although it is a lot like being the victim of a practical joke, then getting to stand around and watch other people fall for it.

LOL That woulda' been hilarious! Why didn't I think of that?

When I first saw this thread, when NOBODY had responded, I thought it was legit. I was like "hey that's cool..barely knows me, but that's cool" Then Milly responded with " aawww, I completely agree" then it threw me off a bit. After another post of someone saying 'thank you' I realized it.

I have to admit, this was a good joke. Woulda been better for April Fool's though.

No, I think that a thread called "10 reasons why (name) should be banned" would be a much better april fools joke...
