Candidate for Godddess

Has anyone ever heard of this? More known by the anime Pilot Candidate froom CN. The manga comes out in April, I was wondering if anyone else is looking forward to its release? I am hoping it will help explain the show more too. ^_^

Yes it is a Tokyopop manga. If you want to know they changed to Zion from Shion and Victim from Bictim. Just my 2 ruples.

I can't wait until Tokyopop releases this manga out! ^-^ And the same manga-ka that wrote the story of Pilot Candidate for godess is the same person who did DNAngel which is coming out soon too. ^.~

Not a big change since Japanese doesn't have a Zi or Vi character. Hence why Videl from DBZ is Bidel in the Japanese version.

Not to get off toppic yet again, but you made me remeber an interesting thing . . .
Did anyone else notice that Hercule in Japanese is Mr. Satan and Videl's name mixed around spells Devil? just curious . . .
Back to CFG when someone comments on this bit of randomness . . .^_^

And if you mix up Santa, you can get Satan. And Ronald Reagan has six letters in his first, middle and last name. I wouldn't put much into it. Expecially since Videl is spelled Bidel on the signs in the Japanese versions. Fear the Debil!

According to Tokyopop.com, 5 volumes. Vols 1 & 2 are already out.

I just didn't really like the series, You know kinda when you see a movie that everyone is spoced to like Gladiator and then it just doesn't sit well. You don't really even know why you don't like it. THats why so I credit with being dry at the time I had just seen to many space mecha shows. Ya dig. So no real reason.

Oooo, Canidate for Goddess is licensed? YEEESSSS~ I can't wait, I'm a big fan of Yukiru Sugisaki's art, and I was obsessed with Canidate for Goddess while it was on CN. >>; I really hope the manga has a better ending than the series, though.

I never actually got to see all CN showed. *glomps Heade* But I saw enough to find a favorite bishie! My cousin has a few PC DVD's....hafta look into borrowing those...

You might want to get fansubs (if you're not against downloading those) because the DVD subtitles aren't very accurate. They just took the script for the dubbed version and slapped it in the subtitles. And that doesn't work very well, especially when a beginning Japanese student like me can pick out obvious differences between what's on the bottom of the screen and what the characters are saying in Japanese.

I am not sure, it comes out in April though . . . I am assuming it will go more in depth about the plot and maybe help us understand more.

Ok heres a question for you Candidate for Goddess fans . . . who is your fav character from the show or manga? I like Katsuma becuase cat girls are soooo kawaii and cool! Also Teela and Zero and (cant remember the name) the guy who pilots the Ingrid that Zero gets stuck in in the first ep., also the red and orange guy. ( I really need to go bacck and watch for names . . . *sigh*) ^_^

I found out their names! The green hair one is Gareas Elidd and the blonde who pilots the red adn orange ingrid is Rioroute Vilgyna! Aaaaaa bishies! *glomps all pics of them I can find*
