Like old school stuff? Or you want modern rock bands? Do you want only Christian artists? If not, do you mind swearing?

Answer these questions and I will gladly give you a huge list of bands to check out.

Yeah, rock is an awfully all-encompassing word ...

I myself am a devotee of classic art rock, in addition to the usual suspects, anime soundtracks, certain Christian bands, ...

I meant old school and modern (I like anything from Thin Lizzy to Nirvana to Linkin Park)
I don't know any christian bands personally (apart from POD) , but christian rock's kool!
Oh, and cbwing, you have a good taste in music. STATIX X RULE!

Personally my very favourite bands are:

Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AFI and NIRVANA ( Anyone who likes Nirvana has good music taste in my books!)

I also like Metallica (but none of their anti-christian songs), GNR, System of a down, Slipknot ( I prefer the songs with no swearing in and they DO exist because I look up song lyrics alot ^=^), Linkin Park, Mad Capsule Markets, POD, Disturbed, White Stripes, HIM, CKY, Iron Maiden and The Offspring! ( I like lots of different rock, metal and punk styles!)

Bands I dislike heavily:

Evanescience, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, The Darkness (Boo Hiss!) and the worst band in the history of bands, BUSTED.

Has anybody other than me heard of Manmade God? They are one of the best bands I've heard in a while (name aside of course :P).

Bush, Nirvana, The White Stripes, Audioslave, Radiohead (the best live band ever!), Fleetwood Mac, Collective Soul, a little bit of Tool (mainly Lateralus, cleaner stuff), POD, does Switchfoot count for a bit of Christian?, you know, stuff like that. That's just the rockier stuff though in my musical taste stuff. I have 200+ cds...

Newer type stuffs-White Stripes, The Donna's, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Radiohead, Ok Go (awesome band from Chicago), The Strokes

Old School-Bruce, Steely Dan, The Stones, Neil Young, Warren Zevon

Alot of my Cd's are a bit more indie. If you want any indie rock, I've got it.
